  • omg i googled this video just now to see if there might be someone out there that may have uploaded it.. anyway, i did this when i was younger and it came true! I have never told anyone about it. I met him when I was 16 and we've been together since. We also have a daughter and planning our next <3 It gets me so emotinal.. Is this a coincidence or what? I've always had weird things happen to me growing up. Too many weird things to go into detail.. And I bet you now all think I'm weird :/ lol.

  • Be cautious the spells you place in youth for they may make you shake, or inspire you to bake. Perhaps take some time to break. If he doesn't doesn't exist , or is unresponsive to your list. Mix a potion to cure the heart. On the full moon that equals 7 or 5 + 2 is a power of 7 obviously made in heaven. With a dust of the brush, a sweep of the hair set free the bee for fair. Flame of desire turned to release from your sweet honey hive. Then swallow a clove of his tooth.

  • I remember doing something like this when I was eleven. Have I found him yet?

  • And if he doesnt exsist I'll never die of a Broken Heart.

  • Forever my favorite movie.

  • This movie is so beautiful. Much better than stupid craps people make up these days! This may be a bit old-fashioned but not for me and not for loads of people. This movie is adicting and brilliant! <3 I agree with wordcreatement when he says one of the best scene is the one when the petals start swirling into the moonlit sky. =) Very touching and adorable.

  • If he doesn't exist I wont die of a broken heart.

  • Amas Veritas means True Love. Amas is a conjugation of Amo, which means to Love, and Veritas means truth, or true.

  • From 1:21 to 1:44 is the best part for me. Dude, I should learn to play the guitar!

  • this movie has the best soundtrack ever! <3

  • Anyone have this instrumental version of "Crystal"???? I love it!!! and I can't found it!

  • @NeoPitsolid I don't think one exists, sadly! I've tried searching but to no avail :(

  • i don't know how many times i have watched this movie but it is a lot! it's the type of magic and wicca i think of as being pure beauty and i wish i could be them growing up the way they did in the movie. (yes i know it's just a movie, but some hold these beliefs - including me) thanks for posting, it is a beautiful scene.

  • "And if he doesn't exist... I'll never die of a broken heart."

    Profound!

  • the song is called crystal by stevie nicks =]

  • The background music is like an acoustic theme to Stevie Nick's "Crystal" song.

I have this movie on DVD, its so good. My all time favorite lol

  • I have the music, and the book Practical Magic lol I love it!

  • I love this part.

  • Some people pronounce "fidelis" (as in, "semper fidelis" ["always faithful"]) as "fih-DAY-lis", and other people say it as "fih-DELL-lis", but *hardly anybody* (except as a joke) pronounces it "fiddles" or "fy-dells" or "fy-dell-lize" or "fy-dell-liss". There are *standard* variations and then there are *unusual* variations and then there are *mispronunciations*. Then again...*nobody* really knows *for sure* how the ancient Romans pronounced words, anyway! ^_~ (One wink at the end.)
  • In "Dona nobis pacem" ("give us peace") (old song sung as a round), *most* people pronounce "pacem" in one of the following ways: "PAH-sem" (no, not "possum" ^_~) or "PAH-kem" or "PAH-chem" (the last one being more like modern Italian and less like how some scholars think ancient Latin might have been pronounced). However...for all I know, there may well be some people somewhere who say/sing "pacem" as "pass 'em" or "pack 'em" or "patch 'em". Which do not necessarily have to be wrong.
  • At the risk of sounding too much like Hermione

(who's in, of course, a *completely different*

    set of magical stories!!! ^_~)...

I *think* that "veritas" in Latin isn't pronounced

the way young Sally pronouces it...I learned that word

as VERitas, not verEEtas...oh, but I love, love,

    LOVE this scene anyway!!! ^_^

    =^___^=

  • I actually think vur eetas is how u pronounce it.

  • To RocketMichael: That's definitely not how *I* pronounce it...don't know about you. ^_~ (Seriously, though...you can *think* that's how to pronounce it if you want, but pronouncing "veritas" as "vur eetas" goes against the rules of Latin pronunciation that are usually accepted by Latin scholars and presented in Latin textbooks. [Think of the word "verity" (truth)...well, it's *not* pronounced "vur eaty". ^_~]) "Ver" as in "very"...VERitahss. (Not to get too picky...just accurate. ^_~)
  • Ohhh Yes. U may be right but I just couldn't give into your stupid comment with the ridiculous touch of CATS in it.

Most languages are very acceptable in having slight varieties among the pronunciations of words and such. So don't be a wretch. Just deal with it.

I don't take your word for it anyway. Every language has it's varieties. =P

  • To RocketMichael: *Yes*, there are lots of possible variations, I ran out of room to post them before. The one which I first posted is probably the best known, BUT there can *also* be "veriTAHSS"...and, either of those pronunciations *could* have the "ver" pronounced "veer" as in "Vera" instead of "vair" as in "very". However: "VerEEtas" actually *goes against the generally accepted rules for pronouncing Latin words*. (No need to take my word for it...look it up.) To be continued.
  • Continuing: However, since Latin is a dead language (used by scholars and those who have an interest in it, no longer used as the everyday speech of a country, culture, society, etc.), we DO NOT KNOW how those who originally used it pronounced it... that is why I *deliberately* said/wrote "usually accepted by Latin scholars and presented in Latin textbooks". (I think that you THOUGHT that I was trying to just promote MY OPINION. I actually wasn't.)
  • Also, RocketMichael, I think that you are being somewhat rude to object to a comment (which was NOT a stupid one!) just because YOU happen to find cat faces, anime faces, etc. "ridiculous". As you can see, I am very willing to not use them in posts to you if they annoy you THAT much, but I think it would be nice if you could manage to be (just a tad) more polite about things like that. Oh, and, "don't be a wretch, just deal with it" could easily be applied to your own attitude!
  • i listened to her thing and it sounded fine.

    deal with it

  • Actually, I don't really mind the way young Sally says the word, I was just mentioning that her pronunciation *isn't one of the standard pronunciations*, that's all. (Actually it's so not-standard that I used to not even know for sure what word she was saying, because it didn't sound like "veritas" to me. I used to wonder if it was maybe a variation of "fidelis" ["faithful"] [which certainly isn't supposed to be pronounced "fiDEEtas", but that's what it sounded like she was saying].)
  • what is the name of the song in the back ground?

  • "Crystal" by Stevie Nicks
