the book (which i won on a radio call in, and is autographed by gordon) really didnt say anything bad about ace. more less it sounds like gordon is bitching over dumb things. most of the book are just dumb and funny stories.

its funny how gordon would be all "i didnt like the idea, but i did it anyway" or "good enough for ace good enough for me". hes no better then ace.

I read somewhere that Ace drew the S's to look like lightning bolts and Paul re-formatted the design so that they looked like conventional letters (and unintentionally making them look like the Luftwaffe initials in the process).

And I'm sure the swastika made sense in context; for instance, Ace probably was using it in it's traditional role as the Buddhist symbol for good luck and protection, LOL.[/sarcasm] :P
