@gogosegaga haha I think the same, I've been looking for some F1 racing game on PS2 and this one looks really good. (F1 WGP II on Dreamcast is my favorite right now)

f1 06 vs f1 career challenge vs this ??

@kimi450 Well if you live in America, you can't get F1 06 for ps2 because it was only released in PAL format. So if you wan't to know if this game or F1 career challenge is better, I would say F1 career. Simply because you can play four different F1 seasons. Also I don't really like arcade style racing games, and this game seems a bit arcadish for an F1 game in my opinion from playing it. F1 career however does not seem like an arcade game in my opinion, and the cars handle more realistically.

I bought this game this morning, the control on it is horrible, you go all over the road and it's so touchy.

Nothing like the great F-1 95 on PSX or the F-1 World Grand Prix on N64.

This is an excellent game for the PS2. I have yet to try it with my DFP, but even with a controller it is quite good.

I think I'll download it, looks great. This title was completely unknown for me at the time of its release...the only ones I knew were the ones made by EA Sports..and they sucked..this one looks fabulous for a 2002 season. I'll download it and remember the good old times.

I just bought this game yesterday for $6.95 at Gamestop. Turns out, this is a great game. I like it better than F1CE(which is just a cleaned up version of F1 06 for PS2) because it has replays. I have a PS3 60, so I can play the whole PlayStation catalog. If Atari could clean up the graphics & re-release this, it would be the best F1 racer for consoles right now.

I'd say best PS2 F1 game, F1 world grand prix 1&2 for dreamcast and the origional Formula one game for playstation (by bizzare creations, the Project gotham racing people) edge it for gameplay though not for graphics.
