  • Hair splitting aside, these were the lot who finally made sense of rave music for me and they've never disappointed me whenever i've seen them :)

  • @pinkithinks lol but there is a difference between dub & rave

  • @117Equinox But really, this is neither dub nor rave, I'd call it electronia psychedelia.

  • @Thesortvokter its dub.. you get loads of dub like this especially from artists like zion train & apart from that without dub there would be no electronica

  • @117Equinox When I think of dub I think of the deep, slow music that evolved out of reggae, and more recently, what you heard on albums like DUBNOLOGY (Where Zion Train is I believe), but hey, I'm no genre expert. It's just that I've always felt this is to jumpy and dancy and twisting and psychedelic to be called dub.

Have you heard Hallucinogens OTT remixes by the way? Killer tracks!

  • @Thesortvokter yeah man i know what ya mean.. stuff like mad professor, scientist, lee perry, king tubby etc.. but even though this is more electronic sounding, still falls within the dub category... i heard zion train long long before dubnology & have quite a few track from the part of the dub genre you'd more like.. a good album is mad professor the roots of dubstep.. its not a dubstep album but an album from where it came from... a modern mad professor ;)

  • it's the first track of the "Implant" album

  • Tasty old school beats. One of my favourites from way back.

  • y a serious fail.... dub came from reggae
