Verizon is CDMA, I don't see how the iphone would be compatabile with you Verizon. I know you can use it with various GSM carriers if you use a turbo sim.

Verizon makes SIM cards for their WORLD PHONES. Just tell them your going to Japan/Europe/Ect. and you need a World Sim...its a GSM signal running to the SIM, so it still works here in the US. You can also unlock a Blackberry Storm(world phone) and use Tmobile or AT&T SIMs in it.

its a program called QICKPNW22 there is another one I cant remember but its pretty cool man, you can get so many apllications throught another program, when you jailbrak your 3g it a program gets intalled called cydia and you can get so much stuff with that one. another tip...

I got like 100 dollars worth in aplications from the app store for free :D
