Basicly the g1 is a touch screen sidekick. Dont get me wrong the g1 is 5x better but the keyboard is the same as the sidekick 2008 and it features the sidekick trackball.

Although the G1 doesn't look all that bad, I would keep using my iPhone any day. No phone has the power of the iPhone. And one thing I hate about the G1 is the off centered keyboard, and the curve near the bottom. If you have the phone on a table and you hit the bottom buttons, the phone would come up on ya. It's like that with the 3G, but it doesn't look like it would be nearly as bad s the G1. I have an iPhone 1st generation and I love it. Best phone ever.

True. One feature that sucks about the iPhone is not being able to send pix. But a software upgrade could fix that. When you look at what the iPhone can do that other phones just can't, you realize how good and revolutionary device it really is. There's a few things you can't do with it (yet), but there's many more things it does, and does very well, than things that it can't do. And the design is flawless in my opinion. Apple did a great job with it.
