I haven't heard this song in 30 years and wow, the guitar and vocals blow me away. The lyrics are just ok but Mark Farner was just a kid when he recorded this.

I too grew up with this music and I always wished they could have gotten the drums fat in the mix like the bass. E Pluribus Funk was my fave GFR power trio record.

WOW! Thanks for this post...one of my favorite's of Grand Funk. Takes me back to my great college era of 1967-1972. In between protests, marches, and revolutions, it was nice to come home and put this album on. 'she lays it on me each and every night' oh yeah.....!!!!
