    Good choice. One of the first things I learned was both the main rhythm guitar part and then the lead at the end of I'm Your Captain.

  • I haven't heard this song in 30 years and wow, the guitar and vocals blow me away. The lyrics are just ok but Mark Farner was just a kid when he recorded this.

  • i'v been listening to 60's 70's music all my life.. this new age is generally crap with a few exeptions.. I was born in the wrong time and my friends are starting to agree. grand funk railroad, ten years after, jefferson airplane,  canned heat, lee michaels just to name a few.

  • I too grew up with this music and I always wished they could have gotten the drums fat in the mix like the bass. E Pluribus Funk was my fave GFR power trio record.

  • WOW! Thanks for this post...one of my favorite's of Grand Funk. Takes me back to my great college era of 1967-1972. In between protests, marches, and revolutions, it was nice to come home and put this album on. 'she lays it on me each and every night' oh yeah.....!!!!
