  • A true warriors welcome home.

  • since it seems like all the police took part in the procession, so who is guarding tucson arizona?

  • Most of the police in this video came from all across Arizona and the United States for Erik Hite's Funeral, so there were plenty of police officers to guard Tucson Arizona. It is nice to know that a Tucson officer was honored so greatly by fellow officers from across the USA. Not everyone is as stupid as you.

  • Officers from other cities. Generally as a courtesy, if there's a funeral for a fallen brother in public safety (firefighter, ems, police, etc), other departments will send in people to cover the city so the 'local' department can attend the funeral. And these officers you see in the video may not be local. I've been to a fire funeral in N. California and seen NYPD officers.

  • RIP

  • Now thats what I call respecting a fallen hero.

  • the most cops i have ever seen in my life

  • R.I.P. the officer being honored. God Bless!

  • God Bless

Was that like the whole police force out that day! Impressive

  • I served with this man at Davis Monthan AFB AZ. He was a 1st Sgt...Wow, this hard to believe. Rest in peace, 1st Sgt Hite

  • I was in the procession that day and I was amazed at the people of Tucson. They stayed out there til the last car past and it took a very long time. We miss you Eric.

  • Thank you first and foremost Erik Hite for your service. Second, thank you for posting this video. It's amazing to me a funeral procession being like that. It's overwhelming just watching the endless lines of vehicles showing their support for Officer Hite. He will always be rememberd. From one law enforcment officer to another, Rest in peace.

  • Awesome

  • I am so amazed at how many people try to post negative cop hating comments to my video. I have to approve all comments to this page first due to that.

Now you bet your ass that when one of those cop haters needs the police in a time of need, they will not be so hateful. I think all cop haters should have a tattoo on their forehead so that the cops can identify them and just walk away "by law" when they come across one. You may not agree with what they do, but they swore to protect you.

  • Thank you. I agree with you completely. The donut jokes do get old too.

  • God Bless you, my friend with the badge. I am pretty sure you were one who wouldn't have wanted all this publicity, but darnit you deserve to be known to us still living because of you.

God Speed to you Erik. Saratoga County Sheriff's Department is 10-8, we'll take the next call.

  • God Bless Erik Hite, That was truly a show of respect and brotherhood. Thank you for your service to the people of the USA, God will care for you now.

  • God Bless Him.

    That motorcade was sick!

  • What a tribute. I wish we could do this for every veteran.

    PGR member

  • Indeed ... and bless the PGR.

  • Rest In Peace.

  • RIP!

  • RIP, Officer Hite, and may God hold your family and friends in the palm of His hand and grant them peace.

I was one of those with flags. It took TWO HOURS for the procession to pass that point. Over 3200 attended the services, and thousands lined the route. He was loved.

  • thank you!

i stood on the side of the road and it was amazing how much support & love tucson can show
