  • i hav no real gym or instructors to help me,and ive had multiple surgerys on my knees, dose this mean headkicks aare jus out of my range?

  • @dsettleascii no not really. if you stretch all of you leg muscles you can learn to kick like a kickboxer, if you see cro cop kick he brings his leg straight up on an angel that will connect with the head. the muay thai head is alot harder to use the hips to whip your kick at the last second. hope that helped. good luck

  • "kick em in the head"... i like it

  • What is the song that would be epic to workout to!

  • @RhysBienaime345

Egypt Central - Taking You Down

  • :P good tips jeff :D haha i used this when sparring :D was pretty successful :P

  • There are two ways, the 180( which is not really a one 180, you actually land past your front leg a bit, and the older style which is to spin then block with the other leg. You don't spin all the way around for the 180, look up SAMKOR (the hardest damn MT kicker known to man) art of kicking, and you'll see he does the 180. Both power are the same, but the ending gives a different disadvantage.

  • I like samkor, but i just prefer buakaw, idk why hes just an amazing kicker

  • Meh

  • this kid is a tidy boxer just from the look of his kick

  • I don't like the way he's finishing the kick with his back to his opponent, if you miss the round kick; you're then left vulnerable.

Also, "demonstrating the head kick" no one's head is that low

  • its not a question of whether you like it or not, its physics, when you throw a proper muay thai kick, the weight of your leg carries you around, this is jeff harrison, 4/4 in montreal's tko! he taught me how to kick, he knows what he's doing. think you can knock him out?? try it.

  • Mate, I'm fully aware of the physics of a Muay Thai shin kick; I'm a muay thai fighter from Manchester, England. Whenever I throw a kick I make sure (if it misses) it takes me right back round into my stance.

I never disrespected him or his abilities.

  • you must have some pretty weak kicks then budy, a powerful round house kick is almost imposible to not spin around, but you see if it connected even if blocked your not going to spin

  • I must have some pretty weak kicks?, did you even read my post mate?; I said that I always spin when I kick!.

What I said was that he doesn't carry all the way through with his kick, he stops midway; leaving his back exposed.

  • alright well post a video of yourself kicking then, so we can all watch you fall on your ass

  • Well, you keyboard warriors get everywhere don't you.

  • lmfao, your the one talking shit but not proving anything fucking faget, the guy in this video is a champion your just a joke, go listen to some rob zombie bitch

  • Its faggot not faget.

  • @joshmartiniuk1 rob zombie is good.

  • You can stop half way as well, you should train both.

  • And I am familiar with Harrison's MMA career, don't worry

  • yea i afree hebronswayers i was about to say that, i tried to do the kick ( using my hips like your suppose to ) and u have like no choice but to spin, but really theres not really a huge chance ur gonna get knocked out, because like u can still block while spinning, and try to spin as fast as possible. you dont get knocked ouut wit this kick, its wit the kick thats done to the body that u dont use your hips

  • is it just me or do that guys legs look ridiculously small

  • I think his legs look ridiculously great actually. But logically, which would hurt more? A leg with skin/fat covering the bone or a leg that has kicked so much it is sharpened to a knife like edge?

  • muay thai fighters don't have big legs

  • I Honestly don't understand why people teach spinning on a kick. great way to get knocked the fuk out. but i guess thats MMA!

  • Some spin through the kick while training.

  • You have no choice but to follow threw with the kick. This isn't karate slap kicks where you can stay in one spot, This is muay thai where you put your whole hip into it.

  • Yes, it is true, you do not understand.

  • I understand good and well, mate
