I know. I was recently fighting an opponent. I had him at an inch o fhis life. Then we were both powering up then all of the sudden. My character won't stop powering up. I wanted to stop before he did. I couldn't because of the game. I want to beat the shit out my wii system.

You think this is lag, no I would call this fast motion gameplay for BT3. This is nothing, when I get lagged which is most of the time, the buttons don't respond even after pressing them 10 times, I need to like press them 15 times for the buttons to respond and then the characters just dash at some random direction, wifi is so gay most of the times. Nintendo really needs to invest some money into fixing this lag problem.

Actually we just figured out through extensive testing that there is something wrong with the netcode in the game. It references certain ports that information has to go through, but was misnamed...so apparently the system itself gets out of wack as an effect of that. Check out the Atari BT3 forums to see whats up.

I have verizon dsl and it has never cause me any trouble on wifi on my nintendo ds.

My wii can go through the wii shop channel fine at a nice speed and everything.

I mean I can play a 4 player game of animal crossing wild world, mario kart ds, or metroid prime hunters with not a single bit of lag even when im downloading a big file on my computer.

I think its so horrible about how atari has a commercial about their nintendo wifi server for BT3 and it doesn't lag at all on it.

It's so weird playing a regular match after an online battle. The gameplay is so fast in the wii version, but online it plays almost as slow as the PS2 version.

It doesnt suck, the motion controls dont put you at a disadvantage at all compared to playing with a standard controller (check my combat videos to see that first hand). And the controls are ALOT easier to master than a standard controller for this type of fighting game.

The motion controls arent odd at all. And actually allow you to use moves at the SAME speed as a normal classic controller or any regular controller. The Wii works fine with certain types of fighting games.

The lag is quite annoying I hate it mostly because it ruins any sort of real advanced play, and it makes it hard to put together a good mixup game, because your moves come out so slow, your opponent can see what your doing, and have plenty of time to guard, or counter it.

Exactly. Either that or your counters/combos dont work right because of the input time lag. Plus everything moves alot slower as well. Sometimes the buttons wont register at all.

Seriously though this is really making thing aggrivating. Sometimes button movements wont even register. Someone REALLY needs to get on fixing the servers. Other than that, the Wii version has an incredebly smooth framerate (outside of the online laggyness), the motion moves are 100% accurate, and the game itself has a vastly improved combat system.
