He makes statements and then supports them with facts. The lawyer, trys to muttle the waters and remove the attentions off of the raised issue. I watched both parts of this debate on Google video. I want to blame the host of the debate for allowing Mr.Dershowitz to do 75% of the talking, thereby violating the rules of the debate. While the host did continually request that Mr. Dershowitz refrain his yap and allow Mr. Finkelstein to speak, she never really put her foot down and so Alan D. continued to run his yap. It wasn't a debate, it was a disgrace. I still respect Prof. Dershowitz, but he needs to learn to follow the rules.

@creeper46 I agree. After reading about the whole Dershowitz/Finkelstein dispute, I have trouble understanding how anyone without a heavy bias could side with Dershowitz. Finkelstein's evidence regarding Dershowitz plagiarism, like his arguments in general regarding Israel/Palestine/etc, is very well-researched. I'm Jewish and, like Finkelstein, find myself a minority regarding my feelings on this topic. It's ironic that Israel's actions seem to find more support in the US than in Israel itself.
