But with Anthy being the spiteful witch that she is, "symbolically", who's to say that she didn't, very subtly, I might add, "join" Utena a few times in the show, too? (The many hand-lockings and "erections" that's happened, for one)

Voldemort coming in to Ohtori Academy...that would be one heck of a plot twist! ;)

I doubt they had sex, Utena and Anthy I mean, but there is clearly some sexual tension between them due to the hand-lockings, the symbolism of roses when they're together and what not; in other words, they want to, but can't due to 'You-know-who' and his role in both their lives. In the movie, it's pretty obvious that their relationship was sexual. Just my personal opinion though. :)

Yeah, Anthy was definitely sexually aggressive in the movie (me like :), but the evil, sneaky anime version was great, too! Typical Aquarius, that Anthy :p)

I know they didn't have sex, but they've had "joinings" that'd probably have the same significance as actual sex.

As far as Voldemort is concerned, I've indulged in this 2 year old fanfic idea where Harry Potter universe turned Ohtori :p With Voldemort masquerading as new headmaster using his former, young look. Ah, the horror of fanfic :p
