Thank you, thank you, thank you for uploading Rolf Harris's Hurry Hurry Home. I too have been searching You Tube for a long, long time, looking for me. I am simply delighted that someone finally uploads it. When I hear the song, it takes my mind to the beauty of the Southern Alps.
Thanks for uploading. Eons ago, as a child, I listened to my neighbour sing this song while we learnt to play the guitar.
Recently, one Cell Group member in my church had a visitor from New Zealand, his aged relative. I sang this song to him and have since then, upon his request, have been searching high and low on youtube and local record shops for this song. Imagine what a pleasant surprise it is for me to find this here today. Thanks again!
even though its a man singing, i never picture it as a masculine song. I always have an image of a mother waiting for her son to return from war. the words dont fit much but since i first heard it thats what i see.
BEAUTIFUL!!

@asiaexplorers you're most welcome. I'm glad that it's bringing happiness to so many who love the song (this version especially) as much as I do

@canaanoptical If you want to know a CD which I got this version from it's from "The Best of Rolf Harris". You can often pick it up for a few pounds.
