I didn't say he wasn't famous, I said he wasn't VERY famous. Many Americans know "Rock me Amadeus" but that doesn't mean they know Falco sang it. My point was that when Falco died it received very little mention in the news so I was asking what it was like in Austria at that time. You need to chill out before you go getting an attitude over a simple question.

I liked Falco when i was a Kid. So when he died i was a little bit sad too. But those days i was younger. Nowadays i'm more sad that he died too early. I think most of us Austrians love Falco. He is just.. Falco :-D

I am Austrian and was really impressed by this guy.

But now I must say, he is actually a completely schizo guy, being captured between the private sensitive Hans Hölzl and the cult figure Falco.

In these interviews you can view him in his prime time and afterwards, but he is completely arrogant and obviously filled up with drugs....like most of his life.

He speaks very sophisticated so it was hard to translate.

He never managed the balancing act between Falco ad Hans Hölzl, he was a very depressive and desperate private person, who was looking for love but taking the kick through drugs and music instead.

He finally came to know that his daughter was not really his own biological child.

This experience finished him off and put him even deeper into depression.
