  • brilliant tune, 1966 Vintage, thanks

  • in 1966 BK's Bye Bye Blues reached No. 5 on the Adult Contemporary chart

and No. 54 on Billboard Hot 100

  • This melody was a hit number 24 the month I was born!! isn´t sweat..

  • unforgettable melody. i enjoy 40 years ago and still fresh. for the young people is amazing. after this many thinks they born in the wrong era.

  • @Rifuar1 You are correct sir!

  • LOVE IT!!!!!

  • Those whizzbang 20 somethings that blast their car stereos have NO idea what true bass sounds like. I love blasting this on my 300 watt Polk audio sub woofer system and shaking the whole house. Bert's bass and drums on a truly good stereo system with hundreds of watts is unparalleled by anything the teeny boppers listen to today.

  • Which album is this version found on? It is my favorite version. Thanks!

  • @MoosicandCritters

from the Bye Bye Blues album, Decca DL 74693, U.S. released 1965,

    produced by Milt Gabler

  • @jobeLewOOH Thank you much, jobeLewOOH. :)

  • Cloud 9 music!! I'm lovin' it!! Thank you Bert!!

  • Originally released on the album of the same name, in late 1965. Fred Moch plays the trumpet solo in the middle...

  • Excellent!!!!!!

  • WONDERFULLLLLLLLLLLL

  • my dad ran atavern in illinois in the mid 50's and had a lot f bert's stuff on his

jukebox. i was amazed at the number of older people who puttheir dimes in for his tunes!!

  • Beautiful music, and photo's of classic BK Album covers...:) I could listen to his music all night long - like I'm doing now!

  • My favorite BK instrumental. great tempo and bounce and a "signature" arrangement that he was so famous for. Instrumental fox trot is what the

category is called on the LP notes. I can almost picture 60 - 70 year old

farts on the dance floor getting jiggy to this - LOL

  • Thank you for posting this video. I love this song: I heard this version almost constantly when I was very young (late 1960s.)

  • I love this ! Reminds me of my Dad. It was played at the end of his funeral.....

  • When I hear this I can just feel myself winding down. Beautiful, sheer bliss. One of my favourite LPs that my Dad bought me all those years ago.
