  • what firemanx424 said is true, when we get a med. local it will normally be the mini pumper. Dispatch may originally send the engine to a stabbing or shooting but it is the stations job to dictate whether they send the engine or the mini pumper.

  • @KentlandVFD oh i know bro but we sadly are just an ambulance/squad company in hagerstown so we dont have an engine or anything though :/. i wish we did but we have an ALS duty officer who runs mutual aid and any other ALS chase calls worthy of a duty officer

  • @KentlandVFD here is my question for you and all of your brother firefighters when there is an M.V.A or motor vehicle accident the rescue engine and one of the P.G county ambulances are en route do you guys get a overview of what needs to be done before you guys get to the scene of the accident or do you guys instantly know what to do off the top of your head while you guys are heading to an accident

  • @thunderball2075 it is a collab of both. Units already on scene, 911 callers, and dispatchers in communications may advise us of information that we may need to know before arriving on scene, but most of the diagnosis and decision making is done upon arrival. Hope I helped

  • @KentlandVFD yeah you did and hope you guys can give more detailed info some other time cause you guys are pretty busy as hell with those calls and things

  • @KentlandVFD yeah you did and hope you guys can give more detailed info some other time cause you guys are pretty busy as hell with thoose calls and things

  • i dont get why all these so called brothers are bitching to one another. shut the fuck up were all firefighters for the same god damn reason and thats to protect the public so grow a pair of fucking balls and be the firefighter you are supposed to be and another thing who the fuck cares if your on a full time paid dept or a volly dept bc there is no difference im on a full time dept and a volly dept and just so you know i learn more and do more training as a volly. grow a pair of balls!!!

  • Lol I like how the Lt. has just a finger on the airhorn and letting the bumps do the rest XD I love Kentland 33 :D

  • pussy music for pussy firefighters

  • @ntstick06 How is a firefighter a pussy?

  • @KentlandVFD lol i leave my youtube up so idk i didnt post this comment but i guess they are just calling these guys pussy's not all FFs...but the song does suck!

  • @ntstick06 fuck you, almost 8000 calls a yr and theyr pussys, you would never have wat it takes to hang with those guys

  • @truckcompany30 dude why you getting all butt hurt? you like a kentland groupie?? and 8000 calls oh boy?

  • @ntstick06 iuf were pussys than lets c u run into a burning building with flames over your head than it all goes into the walls than all a sudden bam its shooting out evrywhere and fall through floors and shit i bet u wont even make it in the building so stfu every firefighter in the world is not a pissy the only pussy here is u

  • @1417firefighter dude first of all read all the posts..2nd im a paid full time firefighter so i have been in more than my fair share of fires...and judging from your lil rant here you havent really been in a fire because the only thing you described was a scene from backdraft???? so how about you put down the OurDesigns magizine, take off the "we volunteer to fight what you fear" t-shirt and get trained and do it like the big boys!

  • Good video but this video lost a star because of the music. Not bad music, just I wish there was none. 4 stars.

  • I think the music is very fitting xD

  • A FEW YEARS AGO THEY WERE THE BUSIEST ENGINE COMPANY IN THE NATION. When I stopped by they ran 5 calls in 2 or 3 hours. I think they average 450-500 calls a month. Good bunch of guys!

  • hey i dont have any idea how many calls they get and they do go on medical calls but it is probably only the duty car or the mini pumper that goes on the medical calls

  • @rescue75squad750: I'm not sure to the call volume, but one year they were the 2nd busiest Engine Co. in the nation with DCFD E10 being the 1st. Mini-Pumper 33 goes on medicals.

  • @rescue75squad750 most the time its the mini

  • Nice.

Do you know how many calls this company goes to a year?

Do they respond to medical calls or just fire?

    Thanks
