  • I was a Ranger deployed and I'm still fighting to get my PTSD claim recognized. VA Salt Lake City, Dr. Ronald Gebhart, Dr. Steve Allen, Dr. Lea Erickson, and tons of others are all fucking retards. If you see them, ROE permits violence. Fuck the VA.

  • @RangerMikeG Can I ask you a favor Mike? I am doing a project for my senior psychology class and its on PTSD. the project has 9 parts and one of them is simply to ask somebody 10 questions about PTSD. It can be anyone really. All I have to do is ask them and then cite them. If you could answer 10 questions for me (I'll make them up) about PTSD that would be awesome.

  • I was far from drunk with a .05 alchohol content and on a small dose of clonazapam for anxiety. And also before I got back from my second tour I never had any trouble with drugs. And anyone who knows what I did and where I served knows I saw direct combat, but whether I have chronic P.T.S.D. from the wars is for the doctors to determine. But I know I have chronic P.T.S.D. from what they did to me in the psych wards and at the rear detachment unit. I suffered so much abuse and torture its nuts.

  • Hey chboris22 I'd like to know who you are if I served with you because If you knew anything about the accident you would know that I am partially rated disabled because they determined that it was in the line of duty my alchahol level was .05 and the legal limit in germany was .1. The army tried to screw me out of disability by claiming I was 5.0 over That would mean that I survived what most people would die from. They mistranslated the german police report but luckily that was fixed.continued

  • haha, I know this dude. Sorry to say folks, he is an absolute fraud. I served with this guy, and the only combat he saw was combating his pre-existing issues with alcohol and drugs. James Doyle is an low life. He took advantage of his unit, peers, and disgraced the CAV. PTSD Doyle? You got that injury because you were drunk, and driving. Enough bashing. Doyle, I hope that you have changed, and have done something positive these past years. People change, and I hope you found that.

  • fuck obama put him on the frontline and all the goverment they desserve a shell up there ass for 1 making thes young people 18 ish figth personaly i think thats to young 2 not looking after the medical care of the brave patriots who are looking after them!

  • This is SO fucked!!! I went through Walter Reed in 1970, my dad was the personnel director from 1966 through 1970 and it was a first class hospital. What the FUCK has the government done to it???

  • Thank you James for your service.

  • ive had ptsd for 22 years and have been rated at pnt for 2 years... all the sudden my shrink comes up with a new 12 week 90 min a week class which is going to cure me and get me off my meds... thats going to just make me crazy again and ill end up in jail without my meds... i guess this is how the government has decided to mess with me i cant even hold a job volunteering and they expect me to go back to work in12 weeks... who is going to hire a disabled vet with ptsd???

  • I had suffered from PTSD as well and I am still undergoing treatment. I am so sorry to hear about your story. And there are other treatments available such as EMDR and I would not be alive here today if it hadn't been for the brave soldiers. Please, keep on living.

  • My name is antonio, I served in iraq for 13 months. Our routine over-site of a checkpoint. Our truck lost it's rear right rails. I attemped to fix it. While I was under the truck. Every thing went black. I woke up in a hospital in Germany. They told me the truck was shot by an RPG. My truck was built to withstand a fire fight, and a 30,000 foot drop. The explosion had to of had been from the inside. My body is covered in burns. I blacked out for 9 days. They wanted to know about my childhood.

  • @antoniotitus I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I know the road to recover is very difficult. If we can help in any way feel free to connect with us at the YouTube channel Help For My Life. We have some material that may help.

  • try to follow up? wtf is thier goddam promble? this guy has all the right to be given the chance to do what he asked for. he goes and fights, and puts his life on the line for those people and they'll just think about? man fuck them.

  • Very sad

  • You know crap like this what they did to this soldier. The commanders of both the Hospital, Division, Brigade, Battalion and Company Commander ought to be called before a Congressional committee and punished with UCMJ. Those Bastards. And that Smug Col sitting on the committee what is he going to do about it NOTHING>

  • Yeah, that's bullshit. I'm probably looked down on too. I went AWOL and went crazy came back to a hospital hallucinating and depressed. I am by no means served and done what this man has done. I was just starting out... I planned on working on hellos in San Diego and working the spec ops part of my rate. I failed everyone. Med Hold was the worst just knowing no one likes you and you'll be left with no pride. UFFD I wanted to be a soldier since I was 6 and here I am...

  • why cant america just not get into wars? i have nothing against war vets i respect each and every one and their brave. but most of them have different points of view than me. america try's to be the worlds police. and one nation cant do it Iraq and Afghanistan and currently libia are just a few of the worlds problems. think about all of our wars after WW2. they all start out as problems that have nothing to do with america that we try to fix. sorry america you cant fix every problem

  • @gotyaman1 We're not trying to fix it, the higher ups in our government are trying to get a piece of the spoils of war.

  • i feel real bad for this guy. war vet 6 years service.

  • im writing a term paper on this =]]

  • Does anyone know what has happened to James? I have been searching and searching....I would appreciate any help.....

  • ...advising people "do NOT join for the money" is basically chastising them for joining, no matter how you look at it. No matter what their reasons were for joining, it's not your place to make such a statement. I've been through as much or more than this guy in the video in Iraq...I've seen it all. I do not have PTSD. I don't even think about it because I choose to relegate those memories to a place that I do not revisit. A minority of people can't do it. Some even fake it for benefits.

  • @arvydas0069

Obviously I would need to write you a lot more before you even understand why I can say what I do. But it won't happen. I truly mean it DO NOT JOIN FOR THE MONEY !

  • @cherrypie5195 Join for your country. It's your duty.

  • @arvydas0069

I leave those discussions to you who have served. It's your culture, past and achievements. You have your ways of thinking and as you know I have nothing to say about it - from your - perspective. I have opinions and you are the ones to tell in that case what reason you joined if or money. You already told, but it's nothing I expect anyone to do here. I understand the military PTSD sufferers may get pissed of, no suffer want's to get misunderstood. I can get pissed too.

  • motrin and water, suck it up

  • PTSD is need to be heard by the government, they want to go home so do so, Mr Obama said before he wanted to pull out troops but fuck what he did?

  • @cherrypie5195 do you even have a soul? You honestly think this is the appropriate forum to voice your opinion about the war? Absolutely disgusting buddy, you really should be ashamed of yourself. If you have an ounce of respect for any of us who go over there and fight, you'll remove your comment and never say another word.

  • @usmcgunner58

War is disgusting. NOT the soldiers !

Then you may say what you want.

  • @cherrypie5195 you should be ashamed of yourself. I came to this video to listen to this guys own experiences so that I could hear what another vets ptsd was like, and what do I see? Your comment telling me that its my own fault for getting PTSD. Then you insult us by implying that you think we go to fight for our country for monye....wow. Again, youre an absolutely disgusting human being for bringing this up on a video meant to help us, and youre a pathetic human being.

  • @usmcgunner58

It's not, but you are risking to get it in war. Am I right or wrong ?

It means you are party responsible for it as a grown up, but you as well as any other sufferer did not choose to get PTSD that's for sure ! It's only my personal opinion, that some go there for money. Some DO! Many be not you but some still do.

I'm not disgusting or pathetic, I'm just honest with you.

I was almost as bad as he seem to be in this video my self some years ago.

    Hold on !

    It will get better !

  • @usmcgunner58

You are right. We are quite unlike.

I understand your anger, but don't point it at me unless you explain me more why my personal opinion upsets you so. At least know, that I don not blame or even tell any soldier that they should blame themselves. That's the direct opposite for healing.

I know severe PTSD is tough and I know it takes everything you have to come out of it. I'm sorry you suffer as you do. We who has PTSD are many, not just you and me. U r a soldier I'm a civilian

  • @cherrypie5195 what a wealth of knowledge you have. Youre too stupid to know that calling me a soldier IS a HUGE insult. But obviously you know why we join then correct? Youre intelligent enough and informed enough to make that kind of determination? I think youre a coward and youre talking about things you are in no way qualified to talk about. Every word you speak is an insult to us and what we fought for. Cowards, like you, have nothing in common with us

  • @usmcgunner58

    Marine, Sir. :-)

    How about that ?

Be angry if it helps you, but I would recommend you to calm down a bit.

I do not know why you personally joined the USMC no. Like I said it was only a opinion a general one surely not pointed at you personally. I didn't even know YOU existed.

I know you must be extremely strong to serve, it takes a lot and I do not downgrade your courage and strength. Not at all, Sir. :-)

I understand you better than you might think. I had/have severe PTSD too

  • @cherrypie5195 you understand nothing about me or how us service members get PTSD, just like Im not qualified to talk about why or how you got yours. The difference is Im not stupid enough to give my opinion on why or how you got yours, yet you are more than fine with giving your opinion about how and why we get ours. Youre in no position to understand why we choose to go and fight, and you even giving your opinion on that is irresponsible and disgusting.

  • @usmcgunner58

I have a more simple way to look at it. Enormous stress and traumatic happenings/experiences leads to PTSD. I don't have to have been in war to understand how one can get it. You can get it of anything that goes beyond what a person can handle emotionally and mentally. It's at least not strange if you get PTSD of been in war. The details you need to talk about with other Marines and veterans, both you and me knows that.

What ever you say, it's still only a opinion, Sir !

  • @cherrypie5195 and your opinion is horrifically insulting to my service and every other service member who's ever been over there.

  • @usmcgunner58

    You know what ?

I don't think I give a fuck about your pride. Keep it and share it instead with the other Marines. Sir.

  • @cherrypie5195 see how easy it was to prove you dont give a shit about us? See how easy it was to get you to show how you REALLY feel about us? I can smell face patriotism a mile away, and you stink of it. You dont care about us, and you never will. You have no business talking about us, let alone talking to us about anything we go through. And now you've proved it, you have nothing in common with us, and its insulting to pretend you do

  • @usmcgunner58

You try to provoke me :-)

Sorry Sir but you won't get that from me. This is for your own good.

I do care, but I don't allow you to treat me as you want to feel good about your self.

I'm not pretending anything. I have my own story on my channel.

I have never said I'm military or been in war.

But still I have PTSD and self control. To a certain degree.

    I'm a woman and a civilian. What am I pretending ?

  • @cherrypie5195 I did provoke you, and succeeded easily. You have no business talking to any of us, and you damn sure have you business talking about why we join the military. Its clear you have no concept of why we do what we do, or have any respect for who we are or what we do. Just go away. You've insulted us enough

  • @usmcgunner58

It's not about that. Before I wrote that "I give a fuck..." you already wrote several provoking and insulting things to and about me. This is only to let you know that I don't tolerate it. I've yet not been upset about what you have written. So, you are mistaking. I sense your anger and I remember when I had serious trouble with it too for years ago. Of other reasons ! That is clear now to you, is it ?

I still don't know why you personally joined. It's up to you to tell me why.

  • @cherrypie5195 youre without a doubt the most ignorant person I've talked to in a very long time. My anger towards you has nothing to do with PTSD, it has to do with disrespect towards the military. You clearly have no respect for us, and you get off on insulting us. WE HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON. Im done wasting my time with you, do not respond

  • @usmcgunner58

So you don't have PTSD but you are here to find understanding for it ? I think you just found a reason to express your anger, by attacking my opinion. You would handle this differently if you didn't have anger issues.

I have respect for you as a person and as a Marine.

I don't like war, that's true. But still, there is war and those who need to do the dirty job. I understand it's tough and if you have developed PTSD it's horrible. I support you, you just don't C it yet in anger

  • @cherrypie5195 ive stated several times that I do have PTSD, but my anger towards you HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PTSD, YOURE A DIGUSTING HUMAN BEING AND A FAILURE AT LIFE!!!!!!! I DONT NEED PTSD TO KNOW YOURE A GUTLESS COWARD WHO DISRESPECTS THE MILITARY!!!!!

  • @usmcgunner58

"ive stated several times that I do have PTSD, but my anger towards you HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PTSD"

    OK. I get it.

And you Sir need to understand that I CAN NOT understand the "behavior codes" among the Marines as a civilian. But that does not mean that I do not respect your sacrifices. What you do is something only the braves can do. I do not argue against that.

  • @cherrypie5195 Shocked to read all this arguing. I hate the war racket, & love a combat vet, hence understand the passion & rage... but damn this is nuts to see. A civilian w/ PTSD who obviously can't let things go, goes head to head w/ Marine w/ combat-PTSD. USMCgunner58, I applaud you for walking away from this.

  • @usmcgunner58

Well I don't know what you really are thinking... but to be clear. I don't support any warrior to do a identification with the experiences and try to take the pride or honor what I've seen some other guys do with you.

For me it's natural that combat PTSD is not comparable with civilian PTSD. Why I personally do this is because I have the strength and patience many do not have with you. Your anger level IS very unpleasant and hard to deal with. I know how n can give -some- support

  • @usmcgunner58

    "WE HAVE NOTHING IN COMMON"

Cool down. I'm not trying to take away anything from you. If you have developed PTSD to a severe degree I then understand you hate to feel ANYTHING in common with civilians who learned to deal with it. It's very hard !!!

Just understand that it's not a sign of weakness. You still served and have the honor of been in the USMC. No one can take that away from you. A warrior is always strong, no matter what then happens.

    Accept the changes.

  • @usmcgunner58

"youre without a doubt the most ignorant person I've talked to in a very long time"

Yap, I'm VERY stubborn. :-* and hard to knock down after all I've been through. I don't fight you, but your anger. That needs to be controlled, you know that. Not tolerated, it's also what keeps you in the condition of PTSD.

But alright. This is for you:

    watch?v=lTs6a0ORdQU&feature=related

    Take care !

  • @cherrypie5195 Sorry to get involved but you seriously need to just shut up lady, and let the man be. There is no comparison from the American civilian PTSD sufferer to the actual combat PTSD sufferer. Two entirely different diagnoses and different treatment. Who goes to war for the money? That's about as ignorant a statement as one can make considering the paltry amount of money combat troops make. People that join the infantry join to fight for their country. I've spent 3.5 yrs in Iraq.

  • @arvydas0069

I say what the hell I please. If you read carefully I have treated you with respect. If you play games with me games is what you get. I have told it several times that one can not compare civilian severe PTSD with combat PTSD. This should be clear as daylight for everyone. Two different diagnoses NO, different experiences YES. That is fact and so it will remain.

"Who goes to war for the money? "

    Some do.

"I've spent 3.5 yrs in Iraq."

Be proud of it no mater what.

  • @cherrypie5195 Your views on the war are not only ignorant, but completely irrelevant, and that was your opening comment. You dug your own grave right there. Of course you can say whatever the hell you please but obviously all you are doing is pissing people off and no one wants to hear it, so why keep on?

Lady, when I joined the Marines in 2000 my monthly rate was less than $1900.00....I made more as a civilian and I was two years into college. I wanted to serve like the rest of my family.

  • @usmcgunner58

I meant. Maybe not you but some still do.

  • Reuters.com - Study says 300,000 US troops suffer mental problems

    200000 Veterans homeless

    1.2 trillion dollars wars

post deployment budget is not include in 1.2 trillion only 620 billion spends over diseased and injured soldiers.

Billion dollars Private security contractor also out of war cost.

  • saddest shit man i cant believe this is what america has come to

  • PTSD can stay hidden for decades, if they then crash with car or someting it might end up with PTSD. It's like loaded bomb waiting for you inside.

  • Yeah, my own PTSD anxiety was almost like his at that time, 2007. Hope he has calmed down... that really sux. He speaks, I wasn't even able to do that.

  • please pray for this young man. that is what he needs most. God will never turn his back on you SGT Doyle. thank you for your service.

  • This is how Army Medical and the Veterans Benefits Administration treat anyone that isn't a Purple Heart Recipient, and even a good amount of those who ARE. I have heard stories like this from almost everyone that has been involved with Army Medical, including my own brother. I personally only served one tour in Iraq, and even I have a sob story that shocks people.

  • Praying for SGT Doyle.

  • ..i found this online,,i wonder anyone has any update news of sgt james doyle? hope he is safe and getting better now.

  • Walter Reed patient Sgt. James Doyle went missing this afternoon after leaving a message he was suicidal, Washington, D.C. news station WJLA-TV reported tonight. He was last seen at a gas station in Montgomery County.

Doyle, 25, served two tours in Iraq and is being treated at Walter Reed for PTSD. From video camera footage from the gas station, Doyle appears to be white. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, a black ball cap and sunglasses.

  • there's strong than there's army strong.

  • We dont need medications... We need support. SEMPER FI BROTHER!

Even though you were in the ARMY

  • We dont need medications... We need support.

  • people need to know dat war does not give u ptsd its the leadership dat sucks this guy talked about how his own people treated him like shit ....they treat ulike you r d enemy...when deploy u gotta worry about d enemy and ur leadership ,,always looking to get u in trouble,,,people think d army is a big family its not.....this wat my friend told me....

  • must be hard to talk, poor dude.

  • not cool

    AT ALL

  • This is how The New World Order treats their sheep.

  • When I was in the army we called the medical care the "medical hobby shop" bunch of pathetic losers! doc's are military docs because they could'nt hold a civilian practice!

  • @blkhwk626 ... or they are men and women dedicated to serving their country and helping to prevent fortherinjury and death to our soldiers ...

  • @wormmy158 and YOU have experience with this? I do.

  • @blkhwk626 Yes, I have pleanty of friends that could have gone the tradition way in school of university and making PLEANTY of money for being a family doctor or a surgeon, but 3 of which decided that they would use their gift to help soldiers. your an idiot if you think what you do.

  • Thats disgusting the way this man has been treated. Criminals get treated with more respect.

  • I'm an 11 Bravo, INFANTRY - OIF1 and OIF2 disabled vet - I've come along way from where I was and went through more then I care to share of what this Soldier did. It gets better with time and once your out and away from those fucking doc's... They get you hooked on pain killers make you all fucked up, break you down then spit you out. I am now drug and alcohol free, take not medication other then my seizure meds from a TBI in Iraq - I wish I could show him the light at the end of the tunnel-

  • If anyone has an update on SGT. James Doyle, I would appreciate it.

  • why did they put this poor guy through this fuckin side show- its obvious to a blind man that he is in a bad way.

Its like they are trying to take away the poor lads dignity.

these wankers want to try a few weeks in a rifle troop taking the rounds and see how they fare.

I hope this guy is being looked after properly !

  • cold, overpaid, underqualified bastards have a place reserved in hell. the va has veiled callousness too unless they themselves are vets. woe to them who tormented this man and others like him.

  • this is horrible. I swear if my husband was treated like this, I would raise hell. lots of it.

  • @Marynicole830

Does it make any difference if it was your husband or just this other guy?

  • @kurtcokain

since my husband is the most important thing in the world to me, yes. i would risk going to jail for him,but not a stranger. if i did, i wouldn't get over the guilt of leaving him and my child alone.

  • @kurtcokain

but don't get me wrong, i feel for this guy. he should not have been treated like this under any circumstances. but if you mess with my husband, you mess with me.

  • I live with it now for 20 years and very slowly I get reckognition for the damage done to me in the first Gulf War - let me make it clear, it is reckognition, not treatment. If I want to be treated I have to go private, nobody is going to help me with the cost.

I am glad that our soldiers now receive better help than we did...

  • it's the same in every army. if your functionality is limited they throw you away!

  • This makes me sick. VA better fix their shit now. Their will be a revolution, and it won't be pretty. I live down the road from Fenton, MI. If you see this soldier you need to contact VFW they will help you more than these VA crooks.

  • my grandfather waited 10 hours in the emergency room at the VA...

  • Same type of treatment my husband reciever. 2 tours in iraq and has been treated like crap since he got home.

  • I hate this country!

  • OMG...THIS WAS AWFUL! I would love to hear an update on SGT. JAMES DOYLE. If anyone knows how to do that, please let me know??

SGT. JAMES DOYLE IS AN AMERICAN HERO!

  • get ur head out of ur ass this is real people

  • i was in the hospital in germany, told me i had cancer, than send me back after a week, "sorry somebody must have made a mistake"

  • Comment removed

  • IF you want to know how to avoid this problem watch the video on Youtube: "PTSD and Transcendental Meditation".

  • "War and the Soul" - Tick, ISBN: 083560831X

  • this is so sad...i really hope things work out for him. ive seen how the system over in Germany works and theyre terrible at getting things done...my husband was injured in Iraq and after 5 months in landstuhl...they messed everything up with his orders and all, he almost missed the birth of his son.then he only got to spend a few days with us when he had to go right back to "finish up " the paperwork.

  • I hate how the guy says "I'm sorry" ------ he shouldn't have to apologize to anyone. Infuriating.

  • Hi Sgt. That's exactly how the squid (Navy) doctors treats us. Yeah assholes. They don't care about us who serve in the trenches.

The VA is worst.Stupid civilians can't be fired so service is pure crap.

  • @astaynax

That's Army for ya. I told them I wanted to kill people when I came back they said it was normal thoughts.

  • @ctrackmonger that's what those smug squid doctors told me.What a bunch of worthless bastards.

  • Some have good times in the Army, and some have bad. . .

  • i wish the best for this soldier and every soldier out there that has served this great nation! you did good! you did good!

  • Anyone with PTSD or war experience, please go to veterans for peace. Violence is not acceptable on any level.

Any society that justifies the use of violence does not have the right ideology.

Any society that justifies the suffering of friends and family does not have the ideology.

Any society that justifies the deaths of thousands of men women and children does not have the right ideology.

  • well that's just wonderful. Why don't you forward this happy little message to all of the peace loving people of the middle east who started this shit...you remember 9/11 don't you? (please insert sarcasm)

  • **PAGE 1** if you would know the details right one of the things al-qaeda think is wrong is the support of the very illegal country called israel, the israelians took over land belonging to the palestinians, and the US is supporting that. I DO NOT sympathise with the means of Al-qaeda, nor do I sympatise with their every point, but I do think that the bullying of religious people have got to stop, and no, the war in Iraq is

  • **PAGE 2**is not right, but the war in afgahnistan is kinda right, but very unnecessary, if you would treat people in the right of way, you would be treated rightly aswell, at least so I think, but since this has yet to happen, we wont find out until after u guys try this fairness-method. Read up on their demands and fulfill the moral ones, and I am in fact an atheist fyi, so I do not support any religion, I support the fair and ethical treatment of people, why dont you?

  • First of all you don't know what you are talking about.Terrorist are not religious people they are mass murderers. Second of shut up and shove your guitar up your ass.

  • so if I dont know what Im talking about then Im sureyou do.. why the fuck dont you enlighten me!?, look, terrorists are bad people, but bad people don't just show up randomly for no reason at all, all Im saying is that we should figure out why they have taken this point of view, you can not get a lasting victiry over your enemy if you dont understand his way of thinking, second of all I was also saying that you should treat people fairly, and YOUre telling me I dont know what I am talking about?

  • Yes,bad people do show up randomly, have you ever heard of Charles Manson? Terriorist have taken this pov because of their warped beliefs. Why don't you buy a ticket to the middle east ,take your guitar with you,and tell the Muslims the same crap you are shitting out here. Sing them songs of peace and love and I guarentee within days some Army or Marine unit will be looking for your decapitated body.

  • well, for starters they are most likely not going to listen to some white dude, not you either, and as for Charles Manson... i'm not sure wether your ignorance is sad or amusing, psychos don't just pop up, he was probably born with biological, psychial disorders. Along with being raised by an alcoholic mom, he had the potential to become a criminal, addictive parents is tending to have that effect, read up on psychology, sociolgy, and criminoloy, and then you'll find out why, fyi

  • Oh great, I am in a debate with a college kid who think he knows everything because he read a bunch of books. I was like you once until I saw the real world. And don't play the race thing with me because you don't know the color of my skin. So go peddle your bullshit elsewhere. Because until you've been there you don't know what the hell you're talking about,so now just shut the fuck up.

  • You're allways sating how you know a lot of stuff, and how you have withnessed so much, but you never tell what, how the fuck can I take you credabillity seriously then? the war in Iraq is wrong, and you're right, the Al-qaede has to be fought, just don't make any more troubles going in to Iraq and support Israel, that's just wrong and is going to cause more terrorist to "pop up", and you don't want that now, do you? In the real world alot people can be talked to, don't fucking argue with that

  • Been there, witnessed the carnage, fought the enemy and sick of listening to "know it all college kids."

Like I said before, why don't you go over there and talk to them and don't play the race card on me junior. When you've done what we've done then you may run your big mouth.

  • if you went to Iraq ( you haven't even told me where you went) then you made a big misstake, (read the dead terrorist/new-born terrorist statistics) and if you honestly think that the only way to let me talk and share my thoughts DEMO-FKN-CRATICALLY, is if I repeat that same misstake, well then you are sadly misstaking, and you should jump off that high horse of yours since it's nothing but a smelly, dead cadaver, they way to learn from misstakes is to listen to those who has made them,... BOOKS

  • Little boy child... take your pyscobabble books and go to Fallujah and see how far they get you. Then show your overpriced text books to the survivors of 9-11and see what they say. Where've I've been ?I've been to Saudi Arabia,Iraq and Kuwait and got to see the friendlies plead to us for help and then got the job of finding bodies missing their heads or burnt to a crisp. Why don't you get into the real world child.

  • Hey why don't you tell us your experience in problem solving. I am sure Obama would be all ears.

  • well I'm sure that the job of finding bodies missing their heads or burnt to a crisp is going to get a lot of peace, yeh dumb fuck, unless you want a 9/11 in 2010 you guys should get the hell out of iraq, they don't want your help so why do you even bother? let them descide over their own fucking country, my experiences, learning peoples reasons is a good start, never have a hate, it will just cloud your judgement, dont hummiliate someone, then they will just retaliate, only strike if you have 2

  • OK,so the great pyschobabbist is now calling me a dumb fuck , tsk, tsk, when you get out and start helping patients are you going to call them dumb fucks (you'll fit right in to the VA)?

So have you figured out a way you are going call the President and let him know your plan? Sorry, experince beats out books everytime

  • Books that are based on bad experiences is beating the crap out of the bad experience itself, if you are soo ignorant that you refuse to learn from other peoples misstakes, then you sir, are a spineless coward, like you think I am, admit that war is something bad instead of repeating too yourself that is is in fact good, and no, i would never call a patient a dumb fuck, I just didn't consider you a mental patient, but from now on, I will, and maybe I should give the president a call...

  • Comment removed

  • ehm, I don'r actually think I can call the president, but even if i would, then that would not be a sign of schizophrenia, and yes I would be sweet and kind, but I would tell the patient wrong, you can not tell somebody he is right when he is not. And @astaynax, what is your problem? experiencing something is going to gice you understanding, bit so is reading books, you clearly don't know anything about the human psychic and untill you have rad a book about it, or have dealt with

  • psychologiacl issues you should not try to pretend that you know people, Books are there to teach people without thme we would not have learned anything, read a book.. just try it

  • You are a very sad case. Hiding behind your books acting like the voice of authority and not having experienced anything. You wanted my battle experience and I gave you a brief synopsis of my Middle East service. So now what are your qualifications besides,"I read a bunch of books." If your reading was up to par it seems that your spelling would be better.

  • books are knowledge if you are accusing me of hiding behind knowledge, then I am guilty as charged, so why don't you take you put an air-strike in sweden, it will kill a bunch of civilians, but heey, so wil every air-strike, and you don't seem to mind. I am swedish and I am not wasting more time then neccessary on you, there you've got two reasoons for why my spelling is not in tip-top shape, most of the misstakes is just keyboard-fails fyi, the whole idea of writin books is teaching, y deny it?

  • No, I've never denied knowledge is gained thru books however, that is where you start. You build upon your knowledge with real world experiences. I've earned my degree ,been around the world multiple times been to war and back and now am a multimedia consultant. You do realize this is a video about PTSD ...RIGHT? So give us a list of your experiences or shut-up.

  • Graduate from med. school in -87, specialised in psychiatrics in -91, went to Bosnia in -98, realized one thing, people are mentally weak, 98 % requires training on order to handle the killing, the 2 % that don't is mostly the war heroes, most people are good inside, however religions is not making bad people to good things, it's making good people do bad thing, yet again, not all the time, the "friendly bombings" to create peace brought PTSD, and death to all, real world experience tells me:

  • make sure people are being fairly treated, patriotsim, such as in serbia and bosnia, and so on, will lead to a lower regard for the country's citizens, but a high regard to the country itself, (I dont see the logic in protecting a country if you don't value the people) war was not the right way there, google "otpor" and you will know what I mean, the young don't have the power, but they are the executors of power, so they can get the powerm we do not need to kill, those who has good politics

  • should encourage peaceful actions by it's young ones, instead of killing them. countries with bad poltics can not do that yet, but thos who can should

  • According to your own youtube page you are 21 years old so that means you weren't even born in 1987. You were 2 years old in 1991 and you were 9 years old in 1998. You are not a professional your phrasing is that of a child. Also a professional could afford a new key board, ask your mother for a new one.I now see that you are probably bipolar going thru a manic phase ,please seek help.

  • fyi when I said keyboard-problems i meant that my fingers slipps, (yes, stupid to phrase it that way, I'll admit that) second of all I was born in 1961 (48 years old now), not -91, and yes my profile do say so,and second of all i have never questioned your authority, just your ideas, don't grasp for stuff that is not there, it is not going to help you, and mocking people is not going to change their minds, one very valueable thing to learn my friend.treat people like jerks= they will act like it

  • @astaynax SHAME ON YOU! ASTAYNAX!

  • @LuvMitch247 what does Astaynax have to be ashamed of?Being a disabled vet who can't get desent treatment from the Biloxi,MS VA? Or because he has to fight people like you who don't what the hell is going on and have never done anything for their country? Before you judge,go back and read the post and you'll see that Astaynax was sticking up for the soidier in the video Linda.

  • @JohnnyQuince Somehow my comment was misinterpreted...I LOVE OUR TROOPS AND AM AN ADVOCATE FOR THEM. The Soldier in the video was going through problems getting help and I found THAT awful...we should get our Troops help for PTSD...and anything they need medical attention for.

  • @LuvMitch247 No what you said was "SHAME ON YOU! ASTAYNAX" . My question is what does he have to be ashamed of? For sticking up for the soldier in the video? Astaynax was sticking up for the vet. signed Johnny's old lady

  • Fuck... This stuff brings back dark times, I definitly relate to him. The feeling of screaming, seeing everyone around you. No body listens, and I almost gave up. The only person who listened was my friend Henery. He served in 2001-2005 2nd recon btn, 2nd Marines. Semper Fi

    OohRah!

  • Marine052191 OOHRAH!

  • My heart goes out to this mans strugle in the military. I served for four years. I did not deploy nor did I go overseas. I know for a fact that things like this do happen. When things like this happen people like this man have no control over their lives. The military owns them. The people who run the military and its hospitals are more corrupt than words can explain. No matter how much he tries, or what he says no civilian will EVER UNDERSTAND. I hope the military system we have now ens/changes

  • time. Show some military pride. obviously he has issues, FACT. Received in Combat; NO.Player of the systemACTOR

  • The issue at hand is indeed very real, and should be treated in a delicate manner. It is a shame to see it highlighted so unprofessionally by this former soldier. I served with this man, and he should be ashamed to represent our combat veterans with such disgrace. This guy was messed up before he ever served in combat with me. Get a life you piece of trash, and put on a suit next

  • v.a. is such a scam

  • This tears me up

  • I know what you went through, I was discriminated in the Army. I went home for my dads funeral from Iraq, and they screwed my paperwork up and considered me AWOL. How do you go AWOL from Iraq? It took me a year, and three lawyers to get it fixed. I got my VA claim, but it don't fix everything.. God Bless You.

  • Hate to tell you this has been going on since Vietnam the effects of that war due to ptsd will take 7-8 generations to clear.

  • I know im a vietnam son I found my mother dead when i was 16 and went to east timor as a un peaskeaper sorry but shit i seen there fucked me up

  • i feel for you. i totally know what it's like to be restrained...i hope you feel better

  • 1 of most likely 50 thousand men and women with the same nightmare. this is how WE treat our own. Lets wave flags and put bumper stickers on our cars and sing sad country songs. Then when they come home broken, lets shit right in there faces. BUT lets be sure we dont mistreat war criminals because that's not in our policy. What a great country we the people have destroyed.. before you comment. I serves 6 years als evac medic and saw this every day... god bless America right? lol right.

  • I feel soo sorry for this guy. such a young age and he cant even explain himself .. that is a good example on what war will do to you. I wonder if those people on the panel really did help him out? or were they saying that just to shut him up?

  • 4:50 He gave up. This is a sad story. Where was his community when he needed them? We parents are supposed to love and nurture our kids for 18 years so that the government can take them and use them to kill and injure and risk being killed and injured? How about a law for politician's children to go to war first when a war is declared?

  • its not like that with only medical. for some reason when we are deployed (at least in the units ive been in)we are 100% clicking. locked and cocked. but when we are in garrison everything is fucked up. you cant get a straight answer on anything. does anyone else notice how fucking hard it is just to clear? how many people here have set an appointment and had to miss it due to a range or sgts time training. its an army wide problem. if you arent e-7 or above the army doesnt give a damn about us.

  • Does anyone know what happened to him?? Please message me if you do.

  • They damn well better have followed up! This is unacceptable! And it makes me SICK and furious to see our good men and women treated like this! There is NO EXCUSE! I agree with alfalhomis response.

  • Is this guy allright is he still alive?

Fuck sadest story ever .. hang in there bro!
