One of my ATF bands .. got a chance to play with Alex in LA, great musician and extremeley inventive. The sound doesn't do the band justice at all, that's the problem with many you tube videos .. the sound is just horrible recorded from small cam corders ... go out and buy quantum, it is an incredible record, probably some of the most incredible music ever recorded ... You can go to Derek;s web site and buy it from him, just send a pay pal payment..

virgil does his doubles inverted RLLRRLLRR, and when I asked him about why he doesn't play that pattern through the whole song he said it takes a lot of energy and he doesn't want to waist all his energy on one song

Did you noticed how Virgil didnt played the whole song with this pedalfigure? he took breaks here and there...maybe hes getting older and in many of hes things he seems pretty reliable on raw muscelpower, even if he has awesome technic. I think he cant keep it up...he would never make it for style, since this is hes little "double-pedal" number. Its sad how he gets older. Hes 50, but looks younger.
