All: this song isn't drug related. It was loosely based on the Tibetan Book of the Dead. Note lyrics: "Turn off your mind relax and float down stream, It is not dying, it is not dying.." is about reincarnation and " Yet you may see the meaning of within, It is being, it is being.." is describing higher consciouness and meditation. Innovation definitely goes to the Who and Beatles, Zep did put the mysticism in it. im a die hard Who fan, myself, but when it comes to the advance of rock and roll over the years, the Beatles injected more than your average 3 chords in rock and set the bar, the Who took that and drop kicked the bar into orbit by pumping up the volume, getting pissed off, and creating a rock opera in the mix among much other things too broad for one man to list hahaha
