i think it helps you just need a great technique arefined touch and some rather advanced understanding of guitar tones and maybe learn paganinis 24 caprices on guitar transpose them to the right key learn maybe the woodstock performance of hendrix made in japan by blackmore and all rainbow albums and spend your time analyzing the works of beethoven and bach maybe vivaldi too and while your at it maybe handel and mozart just to round it off
