My 22YO sister is a qualified hairdresser & beautician, but was recently dismissed from her job at a high-street salon- UNFAIRLY, in my opinion.

She was being criticised & insulted by a client (a rich, horrible woman in her 40s) while washing her hair over the sink. Understandably annoyed, she got the freshly boiled kettle & emptied the contents over the woman’s head! Yes, there were some burns to her scalp (minor injuries) but I thought managers were supposed to support their employees?

Long hair gets boring and you become drab and styless. It's amazing what a major change like that does to a persons self esteem and confidence. Especially when they are noticed. Don't discourage her.  Maybe your friend didn't go to the right hairstylist. It's hair, it grows.
