I lost my 6 year old nephew to this cancer..Died last night..
2005 - 2012..
I was so close to him..he always looked up to me..im 17..and I wil never forget that day he bought the same shoes as me and said.."I wanna be just like you, cuz your so cool"
I remember seeing him 2 weeks ago on my couch not moving at all and not talking..I kissed him on the cheek and said that everything would get better and he would be back up and playin in no time..

Thank you all for you kind & supportive words!! We continue to remain cancer free but are still dealing with all the aftermath of what the treatment does to a child's body!! We remain in good spirits & know God has a plan for us all!! JLCStarbuck...friends were a HUGE factor in her recovery & staying positive thru it all, talk with ur daughter & be sure and explain how different her friend is going to look & some of the hurdles she will face because it's tough on the friends also!!
What an amazing little girl. I am praying that Riley will remain healthy, strong and cancer Free. My granddaughter's 7 year old friend, Tori, has just begun her battle with Medulloblastoma and Riley's story is most encouraging...she is indeed a Hero! What an inspiring story....God Bless your family.
My daughter was diagnosed with Medullablastoma last march and she is also a survivor, I am so happy to hear your story, you should be very proud for raising such a strong little girl, she is beautiful and I hope you cancer journey is over, you are very blessed with a very beautiful little girl~
