You'll have to find the soundtrack. The singer's name is John Stewart (who passed away in January 2009). He wrote DayDream Believer for the Monkees and was a member of the Kingston Trio. Ticket for the Wind is an outstanding song. But as far as I know it is only on the Smokey 3 soundtrack. Ain't Got the Gold I think may be on one of Stewart's albums.

the whole reason "smokey IS the bandit" was filmed that way was because Reynolds refused to be in it so gleason said he'd do both roles. after the test audience saw the original cut and didn't quite get it, the movie was reshot with jerry reed in gleason's place.

also, its mentioned on wikipedia for "smokey and the bandit part 3" about the gleason cut, and you can see a fat stuntman during the scene where the bandit (reed) lasso's the shark off of bufords car about 1/2 way through the movie. they didn't reshoot all of the stunt shots so the stuntman in that shot was fat because he was supposed to be doubling gleason, not reed.
