If you've seen the show a bunch of times, the bloopers are obvious. For example, at the beginning, Glinda's hand is supposed to sweep over the Ozians, but she is swiping at the bubbles. In "What is this Feeling?", Glinda and Elphaba are supposed to meet up at the same time. Glinda's wand is supposed to go offstage (and stay there). And its supposed to go "It's time to try defying gravity/I think I'll try defying gravity/And you can't pull me down". The "kiss me goodbye" part is later.
If you think the mishaps are that they changed the melody. thats not a mishap every one sings the songs a little different...the only good part of this video is the flower part. the rest i dont get...

I love these videos! This shows that even stage actors mess up sometimes! I know. I've had an embarassing stage moment once. It wasn't as obvious as this but it was pretty obvious. I do musical theatre shows and i take vocal lessons and let me tell you that when you are sick, and you have to sing, you could do 1,000,000 vocal warm ups but your voice isn't going to get any stronger until you get over being sick.

@RuckalltheFules I have seen performers in musicals that are able to sing while being sick, you don't even know if the guy was sick or not or if the camera just has bad audio recording or something else...Either way the guy was chosen for the musical and got a great role in it so obviously he has the talent. Maybe he had one bad night or didn't do as well as he normally can on that certain song...messing up like every performer does is not a good reason to be fired.

He did a great job singing when she stopped and then the high note sounded perfectly fine, at that point he was supposed to blend with all the other singers...not belt over them, which is what he did...there was no problem at all.

It's a pity no one has the footage from the Aussie production where Glinda (Lucy Durack) throws the wand and it bounces on a prop on the stage and flies back and hits her in the head. I was there oh my gosh it was funny XD
Well, the flower, and ..some cracking up ... but most all the bloopers were because of all the wierd focusing, blurring, odd visuals and wierder sound production.
they lose focus so easily, really poor lack of professionalism. i've seen kids have miles bigger shit happen during a performance and not even blink in the wrong direction. the flower one is especially bad.

Ok, it's really NOT funny posting people craking on notes. It's hard to do it night after night for all you know they were sick. Maybe not all preformers would mind but I would be a little upset if someone did that to me

I think it's amazing how the same script can become so different just by changing the cast! Who's your favorite Glinda anyway? Just curious.

Having 'prop's' that fail always has been my nightmare while performing. I'd had a Janet Jackson moment years ago with MY MOM sitting in the audience.
She was oblivious to the whole episode as she had dropped her eyeglass' at that most opportune time.

@musicals018054444 To tell you the truth, I like all Glindas! I feel they're special in their own way! :) I think thats what makes playing any role fun, making the role your own. I think it's amazing how the same script can become so different just by changing the cast! Who's your favorite Glinda anyway? Just curious.
