  • You're that little kid that played at the Grammy's 2000! You still have the same hairstyle!

  • @McrDrummmer

That little kid that went on to be arguably the best guitarist in the world!

  • pls stop forcing me to have a crush on you. thx

  • sounds like a nocturne to me.

  • pretty sick....this is the misunderstood of the four etudes so far.

  • Hi there! I got a comment on one of my videos that I sounded similar to you, so naturally I had to check you out! I like this etude, and #1, really interresting counter point ideas and developements, it IS a bit like guitar-yoga ;-)

    take care,

    Morten Faerestrand

  • So wonderful! The harmonic tension is overwhelming..I can actually feel my eyes close and roll to the back of my head...lol. So good...so good.

  • @Gypsyjiver Try and make sure they've rolled back before you open them again :-)

  • awesome that dynamics make it awesome...o yeah plus the complex techniques and harmonies

  • Julian do you have any of this written out and is it available for purchase?

  • @kenkarsh I have the first one tabbed out. Check out his youtube link. I've posted the info for the link in there. You'll need Power Tab Editor (freeware) to play it.

  • yay at the nice little barre chord at the end

  • Jules, what I love about the honesty of your music is that it doesn't have room for "better" or "worse." It's just perfect as it is, since they seem to create a world of its own.

  • Julian, are there any plans to publish these etudes? They are wonderful.

  • i want to see your idea of a "angry strorm like" piece someday

  • i dont have the adjectives to describe it :)

  • Sounds like a 21st century Spanish composer, though I don't know any. The forthright explanation is a courageous instinct: don't try to be mysterious. Tell the audience what you were reaching for, and let them listen. It's a "no tricks" approach, and I love it. Maybe a little behind your ambitious original schedule on the calendar, but right on time artistically. (this is harold, btw)

  • Awesome :) Very, very impressive. It's good to see you releasing videos again! Hey man, when are you coming to the Netherlands again? :D

    - Joshua

(Maybe you remember me? We had a short talk at the North Sea Jazz festival here :))
