Dude, the second I heard your music, I immediately went "dude, this sounds like shit Danny Elfman would make. Especially for stuff Tim Burton makes." I think you definitely struck a hard chord on the feeling for the game that you can't much get elsewhere. It's a perfect mix of nostalgia from childhood movies, PS1 RPG's, and complete story-significant soundtracks.
only problem i have with the game are the bugs ( ground disapearing in gohart, wierd polygons appearing after killing an enemy, lighting has problem) but hopefully the demo was just an alpha version or something. besides that the game is AMAZING, ive bin waiting for an action RPG like this for a looooooooong time.
@valmanzar16 That's because Its a ''Demo'' that you have played meaning not the full game = does not contain all the files = There will be bugs and glitches like you said due to texture files missing Its common sense really, never base a game on a demo experience because its a demo lol.
@CoreGamerStudios but a demo gives the consumer a first impression on the game. something broken would would make that person not intrested in the game, i dunno. unless they already said the demo was an alpha version before releasing im cool with it.
The only thing I've experienced in the game related to the sound that I feel killed a perfect thing was the use of the menu sounds. Everything is very organic until you have some type of button or icon you interact with, then it's electronic and "beepy" like the sound of super market check out. I would have added more muted sounds, or clicks. Sooo close Grant, but overall everything else was nice!
Some powerful sounds in the sfx and in the music which really enhances the experience, well from what I've played from the demo and seen videos online.
@MrAlefantos The story is only supposed to be around 30-40 hours but the game also has 6 faction quest lines that are 20-30 hours each and 100's of side quests. The devs did a 100% speed run of the game and it took them 200+ hours.
@shimmeringbloodfeast They have mentioned it in their weekly Q & A and interviews. Also it was their QA testers and the 200 + hours save file was still not 100 % complete.
I miss those days when game music got stuck in your head. If anyone can deliver that it's this guy. :D
