  • thank you religion for dividing us

  • the problem in fiji lies with the so called churches methodist catholics anglican pentecost and other denominations. They claim to know GOD (JESUS CHRIST) when they are not. Powerless christian. The evil in Fiji now purely reflects the state of their lukewarm church.

  • This is idolitry. They are worshiping a picture and an idol, sacrificing food to the things and bowing and worshiping it. These are not temples to God, there is no sacraledge (sp?). These temples are that. This guy is threatenign violence to say that people have to accept and protec these "desecrated" idol worship site. Gross just gross.

  • Well ur entitled to your opinion....Chrisianity has been messed about with so much that the truth has been lost in the process. Dont be so naive. Let them believe what they like just as you do. Let God be their judge!

  • OH PLEASE DONT GIVE ME THAT CRAP AGAIN EVERY RELIGION HAS IDOL WORSHIPPING WITHOUT THE CROSS OF JESUS AND PICTURE OF VIRIGN MARY christianity would not have survived .

Without the koran and woshipping of the rock islam would not have survived.

without the the statue of buddha buddism would not have survived

every religion has some sort of idol worshipping

  • @Lilzoify

    Yes Lizofy. You're right!

  • I was brought up in a very strict but good decent Christian family in Fiji. We were taught to respect other religions but to disregard their doctrine as Christianity is the one true religion. It kind of made me feel superior 2 those of other religions. I now realise how wrong I was as there are good and bad people in all religions. All religions promote good over evil. If that isnt the most important thing, I don't know wot is. In time,we'll all be judged according to deeds, not our religions.

  • You are wrong. To say we are judged by our works tells that you have no idea what it means to be a Christian.

  • You guys talking about desecration. How about the Christians in India, they have been forced to turn their religion back to being a hindu. At least in Fiji we have the freedom to religion, practise what you want and like. But in India there is no such thing...evryone is a Hindu divided into categories such as sikhs and more.

  • What a few hundred amongst 25 million christians? This was in Kandhamal and fighting was just as much between tribes over land and maoist insurgency as it was about religion. The vast majority of people live with each other peacefully, but there are always trouble makers

  • @22871987 lol india has all religions and people practise them in freedom

  • @22871987

The Christians in India? Yes ofcourse and that is wrong but you're missing the fundamental key here. Hinduism as a religion accepts all people and religions. We do not differentiate between any religion and do not ask anyone to conver. Christians on the other hand (although not as agressive as Muslims) live to preach and convert others and indirectly demonize other faiths.

Get out of here with you're bullshit

  • Native Christian Fijians can have their so called land and shit faced country. Go bury Jesus crosses all over the damned land. Indians were the working class of Fiji. They dont need us and we dont need them. Look at Fiji now its a fricken gutter. I live happily in Canada, a land where I can worship, live do everything I want equally. Fortunately, the West places like Ba is a much nicer place to live. Thos Fijians are atleast respectable.

  • Look KUNT fijian indian christians also suffered heavy racism from native fijian christians i know cause my grandparents are christian it aint religion but the fucken narrow minded views of people that have led to this so get that through your thick head not all fijian indians are hindus alot are muslims and christians and we all suffered under the brutal mistreatmeant inflicted by the english then the native government

  • to all Hindus..what about the Christians in India...are they not being persecuted?

  • a few christians in India have been inconflict not the 25 million majority. Even so, how does that a completely seperate situation make it right for the situation in Fiji? people who have nothing to do with what was happening in a tiny area of India affecting 0.1 % of christians there?

  • That is some bullshit. We need a better solution.

  • I feel this video is very informative and also a testament to the reality that people all over the world are experiencing. If you look back throughout history people oppress each other because of their personal beliefs, culture, tradition and especially religion. For example, the holy crusades, The nazis, more recently darfur, rwanda, vietnam war and much, much more. My hope is that we can finally see the beauty in pluralism and the beauty that our differences and unique qualities weaves.

  • thanx tuikalavo.sorry for that comments and i take my words back.pease.manu samoa.

  • I'm a native Fijian and I do not condone this disgraceful act...whoever is attacking this temples should be thrown into jail.

  • why they try to destroy you guys religion because you guy mother fucker from india.if you guys want to make it,become strong religion in fiji,i begg you to go to india otherwise your ass gonna burnt down.

  • @SV

that is not a nice comment, Indo-Fijians have helped us build our country. I have a lot of friends from high school and college who are Indo-Fijians, any native Fijian living in Fiji who tells anyone he HATES Indo-Fijians or has no Indo-Fijian friends is a LIAR...the only time I hear about this Indo Fijian vs native Fijian bullshit is when politicians and the media stir crap to manipulate the masses.

  • What are you trying to convey? How about you go take some course in english before posting here! Its racist people such as yourself who continue to look down and downgrade fiji indians when they helped make Fiji the nation it is today.

  • I am a programmer. I can manage to get your IP address easily. Be careful. You can spend a lot of time in jail for such comments. Be very careful.

  • I'm a christian and I know that it is not very christlike to condemm other beliefs. Please understand that every human being has a right to worship or believe what they wish to.

To my Hindu friends, please understand that not every christian think alike.

  • There is a price to pay for everything and one day you'll pay the price for what you said.

  • what do you think about your ancestors?

  • people who burn this temple a stupid n hooligans..live them alone..every 1 hav the right to serve god of their faith..

  • the conflict b/t Hindus and indigenous Fijians is rooted in UK colonialism. the Brits wanted to take over the sugar cane exports (2nd largest industry after tourism), and brought over many Indians from that end of the empire for cheap labor. when UK gave back sovereignty, they left a mess in the wake. both are very peaceful ppl, i know as i spend almost every Xmas in Fiji with my family. it's very sad to see this video

  • psalm23yhvh you are a fucking idiot. apparently youy missed the point. i hope you kill yourself in a mass suicide for your precious impotent jew savior.

  • "Now there are concerns politicians are stirring up religious animosities for political gain." This happens everywhere.

  • does it matter what religion people follow? but it does matter that anyone's place of worship should be desecrated. How bad is that!!

  • These christian zealots deserve the muslim terrorists. Both are religious supremacists and believe theirs is the only way.

  • christianity is a pagan religion, they r wershipping a person who was eating and drinking and got killed by humans as the christians claim

  • Pray tell, when did Christ order the desecration of other reiligious places of worship? Is this really Christian? I am a Christian but I also know that Hinduism is the oldest practiced religion and it teaches Indians some of the BEST values about how to live!

  • like what? how to worship 100million gods each one being made up as we speak.

  • as oppose to you who worships some white guy with a beard, yeah that makes a lot of sense. your aim is to convert people in order to make your religion the most dominent in the world, a simple thirst for wealth and power.

  • The Christ was not white. He was of the house of David. A Jew by bloodline. Religions involving idolotry are in and of themselves desecrations. And yeah, that includes catholicism, where in statues and men are bowed to, prayed to... and worshiped. If I saw someone running toward an oncoming train, oblivious to it's danger, I'd intervene. I do not agree that these people should be abandoned to paganism and allowed to suffer the consequences of bowing to a hunk of rock, bronze, gold or whatever.

  • ofcourse he aint white people made him white

  • @EliteBusJr

Hindus believe in Oness of God. We are the oldest recorded religion to do so. Hindus believe that artistic represenations of God as just as valid as verbal/literary represenations.

You have your cross, Jesus, and many Prophets, and you eat the bread and drink the wine that represents the body and blood of Jesus, and you still don't get it.

  • oldest pagan religion..dont forget tribal religions aswell...oh and Dravidianism which records hinduism in its texts

  • @godschild0811

Bull shit. Hinduism is a mixture of the two.

  • @sungod221

    mixture of two what?

  • @godschild0811

There is no such thing as Dravidianism. Hinduism is the religion of India that is a mixture of South.North Indian philosophy and beliefs.

  • @sungod221

oh realy? i suppose then there were no such people as aryans either?

just because you might not have heard of something doesn't mean it simply did not exist.

the philosophy and beliefs you are talking about were religions that pre-dated modern hinduism. Although can't be accurately described as a mixture of these because of hinduism being Veda centric.

  • @godschild0811

Aryan is a language, not a race (Buddhism and Jainism are also Aryan based relgiions). I still have yet to hear from you what Dravidian religions were. There are tribal religions but they are Mundas. Are you speaking of Tribal religions?

  • @sungod221

Aryan's were a race of people who settled india, the dravidians were also a group of people. Dravid religions did vary but similar to the variation of Jainism, Hinduism and Buddhism today.

recent studies have shown that hinduism was directly influenced by the dravidian religions. The dravid religions followed the Rig Veda for the most part.

Also no these religions were not tribal religions, they existed on a wide scale.
