I go to this school and the teacher doesn't make any effort to hide this personal decision, i mean they even wrote a book called "you can't shave in a mini mart bathroom". When this stuff first started happening we would get detention if we said he or mr. They went completely control crazy. The teacher is leaving now though

how come the same people that say there is NO difference between the sexes other than physical and that there are NO gender roles are ok with sex changes? how can you determine that you are in the "wrong" body, if you don't even have a definition of what it is to be male or female?

@CoreyHartRules Technically on a biological level there is NOTHING about the physical sex that is always consistent. There are females with XY chromosomes, there are males with XX chromsomes, there are females with undescended testes instead of ovaries.

So how can you define what makes a physical male or physical female EITHER, if there are so many things about sex that are not consistent?

Rejection of gender ROLES are NOT the only symptom, It is also rejection of the GENITALIA and body ITSELF.

transgendered people aren't just corss dresers. They are people who litterally have been assigned the wrong body for their mind. When you meet male to female transgendered people you often don't know because it is so natural to them. But if you meet a transvestite, you know immediately. People just dont understand the difference because the words sound so similar. :(

SOMEONE aways knows your past, unless you disappear and stay hidden somewhere. People always have a strong opinion about us. Either they appreciate our strength, or they fear it greatly. choosing = ideology, and many times wrong.

being yourself = biology, and usually natural.

Transgender choosing SRS are not real transsexual. People in need of SRS in circumstances of "yes or yes", they really have the condition.

Those millions TG´s who assume SRS is something you can take or not (as choosing your gender), they´re not dealing with true transsexualism: a rare neurobiological disease.

@JustThink00 We had a teacher doing this in Vancouver a while back. There are a few in high schools, but this time it was an elementary teacher, and we saw all sorts of idiots yapping to the media about how they were puling their children from her school. They were so afraid that simply seeing this teacher would "confuse" the little darlings and turn them homosexual; it was just pathetic. In the end, it was the proverbial tempest in a teapot.

glad to hear the district was keeping out which gender role the individual was switching to. . .one thing about being transexual is you have alot less personal privacy, in terms of, if you stick out as transgender you receive people's attention for that very reason.

haha, wow. We have all of what, three science teachers and two of them are happily married?? What ever, a great teacher is a great teacher. I'm glad he is doing it though, he was going to do it last year but had to postpone becuase of media stuff I think.
