The chances in non related couples of having a baby with birth deffects is only like 4% or 5%, while in first cousins couples is like 6% or 7%, which means that they're only 1% or 2% more likely of having babies like that....that's nothing really if you really think about it.

Flawed? Sir, its your reasoning that its flawed. Consanguineous marriages are responsible for a much higher incidence of recessive disorders (when compared to non-consanguineous populations). It follows not only form this video but as well from many (literally thousands) studies on this subject.
