  • Where The fuck did you find a turbo kit?!? I cannot find one anywhere for my 1990 SHO

  • SWEET SHO!!!! I wish they woulda made them in a wagon. A 5 speed SHO wagon would be sweet

  • A couple of them do exist, in v6 and V8 form.

  • Got to luv 1st gear. 78 Kph before second

  • SHO for life

  • That is a mighty fine RIG you got there...sleeper FTW!!! I'm impressed keep going with that beast...

  • I want to put a turbo on my 91 MTX.

After seeing this I think I will.

  • shos sound bad ass

  • cant wait to drive the new 1

  • damn i love burnouts but damn fwd? idkkkkkkkk it looks sorta weird

  • GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE a turbo SHO LOL

    cool sleeper

  • no dyno numbers? what did it lay down??

  • Last dyno of that car was 430whp/412ft lbs

  • first offered in 1989 with 3.0L only

  • talk about ricer eater

  • only problem with the sho is that putting all that power in a transverse mounted engine/tranny setup. they are known for tearing themselves up if you beat on them a lot.

  • yeah, plus its hard -not- to beat on these cars because there so fun to drive. I think i go through motor mounts faster than Rosie O'Donnell goes through a plate full of BBQ spare ribs

  • Dude I swear u hit the nail on the head, but what can I say ... I luv my SHO

  • Tell me about it. I went through 4 trans in my 93 3.0 5 speed! I paid more in trans than I did for the car. I do miss my SHO!

  • i dont see what the difference should be, the 3.0 was 220 hp/200 tq and the 3.2 was 220 hp/215 tq and the same design was used all the way through,i think this is just a myth because i hear it alot to,the only thing it could be is the wieght since they changed the body style in '92 eather way they are all rockets

  • From what I can remember I believe the 3.2 made more torque, I guess to try and counteract the slushbox.

  • the 3.2 was only used on sho's with automatics. if it was a stick shift, it had a 3.0. the idea was to make the automatic be just as fast as the 5speed also, the sho was only offered as a stick shift from 89 to 91. when they changed the body, they then offered the car with an auto.

  • If this guy's MODIFIED SHO has the 3.2, that doesn't mean he has an automatic transmission. you can get the larger engine and pair it up with a manual.

  • u r right!

  • FYI The car has a 3.2 SWAP. SHO's were offered in 5 speeds from 89-95. The auto was introduced in '93.

  • I always heard it was first offered in 92. and for the record, I probablly shouldn't have put "when they changed the body style", because most people probablly thought I was talking about 96, I was talking about when they changed the front and back ends of the car with the smaller headlights and whatnot.

  • 89 to 93

  • I'm curious. I own a '91 and it's a complete rocket. What made the '91 so much faster? I hear '92's are fast too, or is that just a joke?

  • where can i get a turbo for my sho? i want one for it.

  • I had 2 SHO, I wish I can find another one!, I beat a 3.5T Acuras, and stupid Maximas, MotherCarlos SS

  • i've got a gen 2 with 200k lol, but i've never heard of having a turbo on the yamahammer engine but boy does that thing get.

  • what a F***in beast

haha, how much hp you hit on that dyno run,

this is the best taurus sho vid on here, cuz it goes like 160

im tryin to get my hands on a taurus sho, r there any sites where i can find them cheap? thanks

  • i have a SHO and im thinkin about sellin it.... i jus need the money but im gona get another one!!!

  • 383 whp

  • 1991 WAS the fastest year, the old body style, plus they had the rod shifter linkage, instead of the stupid cable thta always came apart. I had a 89, and a 95, both stick, and the 89 was wayyy quicker.

  • Man thats awesome lmao! Personally, I prefer the V6 grunt to a V8.

  • amazing job on adding FI

  • 1991 SHO is the best SHO year.

  • That is one nice sho wish mine was that fast

  • Now that's the kind of power I can only wish mine posessed. What mods have you performed?

  • this are the mods: - 3 Inch mandral bent Exhaust and Down Pipe - 3.2 Liter Turbocharged Yamaha V6 - 47 Pound Injectors in Modified Fuel Rails - 5-speed Manual - Custom Front Mount Intercooler - Eibach Springs - Extrude Honed Intake Runners - Greddy Blowoff Valve - Heat Coated Tubo and Header Pipes - Koni Adjustable Shocks - New T60 Hifi Turbo - PROFEC A Boost Controller - Quaife Limited Slip Differential - Rod Shifter Last time at the track this car ran a 13.1@113.9 in the 1/4.
  • Very nice car. Better than my '94 SHO.

  • Pretty good.....for a taurus...but it still couldn't handle my Maxima

  • It's not just a Taurus, it's an SHO, you ricer.

  • It would shit on your maxima stock dude, sorry.

  • funny but proven countless times maximas really can't keep up with the SHO's pace

  • awesome.. GM FAN here and I still Love this!

  • I am a Chevy guy myself, but Yamaha and Ford teamed up to make a mean momma car (I own a 3.8 GTP Supercharged 1999 Lumina LS)

  • Thats so awesome! I hate people that think its just a taurus, screw them, such an amazing car

  • Good shit man I wish my SHO would keep up with a Cobra
