I really like Ron Paul. The only thing that kept me from voting for him was that I feel he is on the wrong side of the war argument, and that is a big enough deal that I couldn't just ignore where he stands on that issue. Otherwise, he has a lot going for him as a candidate.

Politics should be done by humans who were educated for their profession and not by the big mass of the people who think they are really smart. This is the problem in your politics. I just read an article about it in a history magazine. Look, I obviously don't know solutions but things have been wrong since Truman.

With a lack of good candidates, I would choose Obama, because he is young, intelligent, and someone who is not arrogant and can listen to advisors instead of saying RE VIETNAM

No offense, but can we stick to calling him Obama? I know the argument is "well, Hussein is his name", but that's not what he goes by. I think it does more harm than good in our efforts to defeat this guy. He's on the wrong side of most of the issues. If the voters stick to the issues, he loses in a landslide. The problem is, I worry if the voters are smart enough to actually educate themselves on the issues.
