I built one of these and well it's shite... the wind has to be above 2.8mph to generate more than 3kw at 240volt although i have improved the design it no longer needs my cat to sit on top to stop it flying away and i don't have to wear ear defenders when the wind exceeds 4.2mph!! but the design is totally flawed as mine got stolen so it has no anti theft built in :(
Acho que ela pode ser usada para este fim, mas esta está com um dos meus geradores de 600Wats, acoplado via Corrente. em ventos moderados 12- 15 mt/s ela chega aos 500Wats Facilmente, Pois devido ao seu tamanho ela tem um alto torque.
gostei de seu rotor bem aerodinamico e acredito que deva girar mais rapido do que os rotores que possuem apenas 3 pas; o a parte do gerador. esta conseguindo quantos watts com sua turbina. Att Josué

Not enough surface area per blade, and a helix would make it more stable as well.
