Funny, my dad and Eric's dad used to work together @ Boeing...I remember going over to their house for dinner when I was a kid...lol. He's definitely a great musician! :)
legend tells that satan wanted his soul so bad that he offered eric all the money in the world but he refused by raising middle finger and saying "blues is all i need red man"...these are his exact words, swear to god.(though i don't believe in one hahaha).
Went to a small blues café in Belgium to see some locals play blues and they said that the gigs were cancelled and that there was someone else coming so we all paid 10 euros , and watched this AMAZING preformance. I was completely blown away.
Went to the Blue Cafe in Long Beach ( when they still had blues). paid my ten dollar cover for whatever band was there. Eric comes strolling through the crowd and blew us away
Hey everyone, You might notice in this video that Eric's right hand is wrapped. Got to talk with him before the show and asked him about it. He told me it was broken. When I aksed if he was still going to perform that night he said, "Of course, it's all about the music brother!" If you ever get a chance to speak with him, you'll find Eric is a great guy!......Roy
@teramasz I actually played the last half of a tour about 4 years ago with a very broken hand, both the bone for the middle finger and the pinky where broken in my palm. It is a grin and bare it situation but the job is to play.
Thanks for the compliments guys. By the way, that's my wife's bare feet shown on the video. She had a nice comfy position while Eric stood playing right in front of us. LOL!!!

@Blues71 old topic but... would he be able to play the guitar with a broken wrist? NO ;)
teramasz 1 year ago
@teramasz Actually, it wasn't a broken wrist, but a broken bone in his hand that he had wrapped very tightly.
