Are you quoting from the bible that you claim to be 'corrupted'? The same bible that says Jesus is God in the flesh? The same bible that says anyone that preaches a different gospel even if its brought by an angel(in a cave?) let him be cursed? You cant pick and choose. You hve no consistency,.
I did this long ago but I am pretty sure I did not claim the Bible is corrupt since I don't believe that. The "angel" verse is in Galatians. You need to watch the video more closely bud.
@Pitttdog Yes, that Bible. What minute and second is it that I say it is corrupted? Did someone highjack my video? Jesus = God in the flesh! Paul is right, there are lots of little fake gospels out there, even today.
@Pitttdog i just listened to the first part of the video and in fact, I say that Deedat doesn't even say that the Bible has been changed. He probably does on some occasions but not in the majority of his videos. Now does he give the wrong interpretation of the verses he exposits?--almost every time because he is going against Jesus for who he really is and against Christianity and Judiasm in general.
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD PRAYS TO ANOTHER DIETY? The Bible indicates such obseen activities... The follow up question after you google the answer is .... SINCE GOD WORSHIPS ANOTHER DIETY, WHY THEN WORSHIP GOD AND NOT THAT OTHER DIETY YOUR LORD WORSHIPS?? Very simple, very logic ... Don't embarress yourself and disenfrachise christian beliefs when you answer, if you can answer ... I was impressed when you brought up both the Hebrew and Greek scriptures though.. Nice Touch..
See the Abraham video. All I can say here is what I said on "Say not Three." Prayer in to the followers of Jesus is a totally different thing than it is for Muslims. We are communing with Him. We do it corporately--that is, as a church and we do it individually--I talk to Him anytime I have the need or want.
You say that Jesus is a part of the GODHEAD, the Trinity is presume you are trying to say, ie - God is a person, Jesus is a person and the Holy spirit is a person but they are not three persons but ONE!! Grammer obviously doesn't apply here... but you believe despite being confused yourself.. Faith above All, right? But then I ask..... IF THE THREE ARE REALLY ONE, THEN ... WHO DOES GOD WORSHIP IN THE BIBLE? because the bible clearly indicates GOD setting prayer!!!
I am not confused. These sacred scriptures from whence derived these truths have been around 2000 years. Thanks though for your thoughts. To understand me, you will need to read the Greek scriptures translated in your native language.
Well we can see that your faith is quite weak, the knowledge of Jesus in disorientated but despite this you claim that you have a warranty fron Jesus that when you break (His Covenants) he will refund you (all blemishes on your soul) and rplace any broken or worn parts with new ones... I don't want that warranty thankyou though because then it gives me reason to be evil because I know that Jesus will just clean them away for me!! But you say that you are not embarressed??
all because you are making statements you don't understand!! Thus in Exodus 3:14 it says "Ani Ani" which translates to in grammatical English "I am I", and being that God the greatest is speaking this is clear enough for those who believe, secondly "I AM" is not a title nor a name but you seem to want to associate it as the name of GOD! So when I say " I AM witing this now" to you it must mean "GOD is writing this now", "I AM tired" also means to you "GOD is tired"... you're not embarressed??
and since you know a bit of Hebrew you should know that "Ani" or "Ana" in arabic, the Hebrew cousin's tounge means "Ani" in the native toungue means "I", so for example the phrase "Ana Zaky" means in English "I SMART", this is perfect grammer in Hebrew and Arabic, but to be understood in English, Grammer must be place thus transforming to " I AM SMART ", now you believe "I" in Hebrew means "I AM" in English, thus this disenfranchises christian beliefs, it makes them look like fools
Yes but a blasphemy to the Jews is the claim of any prophets after Moses, that is also a reason to pick up stones to kill him - How do you know that Jesus is claiming to be God?
John 8:58 that you make reference to in the context of the Bible is preceeded by John 8:54 "If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me" once again Jesus detatches himself from God, and amplifies Gods power over his own
Yes, absolutely, Jesus said that and it changes nothing about Him. Please read until you find Jesus saying to the Father "and restore to me the Glory I had with You before I came to earth." Jesus is the eternal, preexistent One. It is all laid out in the New Testament for one who will seek Him and see Him.
Lastly, since you are stumped to answer... what makes tou sure that Jesus claims he is God with the phrase "I AM"?? I could very easily be interpreted that some one asked Jesus "who or what is God" and since Jesus is the word of God, the mouth piece of GOD, God responded through his mouth piece, ie Jesus by stating... "I AM.... The Alpha and Omega" ie the first and the last, this by far explains this quotation in the Bible far better than Jesus is claiming he is GOD... Logic, simple Logic...
Jesus here in John 8 uses the phrase I AM that can be found in Exodus 3 in the Hebrew. How do we know what he was claiming there in John 8. We can look at the whole chapter and tell. The Jews then took up stones to kill Him because in their minds Jesus just blasphemed God by claiming to be like or equal to Him. This is very clear.
Again i ask, for each time I ask Allah is pleased with me, blesses me and empowers me to rectify false dieties associated to Allah - Each time I ask another viewer reads these comments and wonders if what you say is true since you can't respond... Who do you repent to? Jesus or God? Who do you pray to? Jesus or God? Who do you worship? Jesus or God? Surely not difficult questions to answer, these are the basics - Are you even christian? - I feel sorry for all the christians that you embarrass,
I am not embarrassed about anything. Jesus is a wonderful Savior. I fully submit to God through the person of Jesus Christ. I repented of my sins and am forgiven of sin my Him. I know that I have been forgiven based on I John 5. That is a wonderful thing to know. I do believe Muslims can't know they are forgiven for sure. That is sooo sad to me.
So inturn you are stumped, you can't answer me straight, is that because you don't know or are now begining to disbelieve all that you preach... do christians repent/pray/worship God or Jesus? The Father or the Son? You said once before you humbly repent to Jesus, but that is blasphemy... to repent to the Son and Not the Father... I as a Muslim know more about your faith than you do it seems, this is very unfortunate for you, you make these statements that disfranchise christian beliefs.. WHY?
you are quite welcome, It is a duty of Muslims to question the belief system of all christians in order to find out if they truly do understand the Gospel, but still I don't believe you have responded to me yet, you have avoided the question - Do YOU repent to GOD or JESUS??
I would have to agree with you night hawk, as I said, If it the people that believe in Jesus that will enter heaven so will all Muslims as we honour him and hold him at a high degree, and as you said....John 5:22:23 If one does not honor Him they do not honor Father. We honour him and we honour God.. Thus if heaven will only open to people that believe Mohamed then christians and jews won't enter, we are definatly on the better side of things.... logically speaking.
So you're stating Dr Luke is an apostle, a disciple, and was he known to Mark, Matthew and John??
Thus, HIM is Jesus, and HE (as in Jesus) said that people sould repent to HIM (as in Jesus) so as to enter heaven, yet you say "HUMBLY REPENT TO GOD.admitting that Jesus' sacrifice is the source and reason we can be forgiven..." So I take it, from your own words that you HUMBLY REPENT TO JESUS AND HUMBLY REPENT TO GOD... Do you preform these repents seperatly? Do you know the BIBLE??
Yes I know that Mark knew him but not sure about Matt and John. Yes, repent to Jesus and see Matthew 9:2-3. Here he forgives sins of a man and knew that the Old Testament says that only God can forgive sin. He is claiming here the power to forgive sin.
Also see Matthew 11:27 He does the Father's work on earth
Matthew 28:20 His presence continues here long after he is "gone" physically.
John 5:21:23 He is the source of eternal life. If one does not honor Him they do not honor Father.
Continuing: John 8: 52-59 Jesus claims the ultimate here, ie, that he is God ( I AM ). and you can tell that the Jews got really upset because they said He blasphemed God.
John 20:28-29 the disciple Thomas calls him lord and God and he does not correct him. In fact He encourages & contratulates Thomas and future believers.
Acts 20:28 God says that sin was paid for by blood shed. The only blood shed was Jesus' blood.
There are many more but one more: Hebrews 1:1-3 Jeuss is the spokesperson (the Word) for the Hodhead. The Son of God is the radiant expression of God's glory. He reigns now at the right hand of the Majesty.
So you are saying Repent to Jesus which is GOD... Yet Jesus is the Son of GOD ... The Word of GOD, The Spokes person of GOD, Jesus Does his Father's work, Yet he claims the ultimate in John 8:52-59 "I AM", So you're saying Jesus is GOD, THE SON OF GOD, THE WORD OF GOD, THE SPOKEPERSON OF GOD, yet still has time to DO HIS FATHER'S WORK, and make claim "I AM".... this is what you believe correct??
"... Humbly repenting of our sins to Jesus is the only way in according to Him... " Thus HIM refers to "Author Dr. Luke", so are you saying that Dr Luke's Version of the translation declares to Humbly repent to Jesus or GOD??
HIM is Jesus Christ. Dr Luke wrote the Gospel of Luke in Greek. BTW, Matthew, Mark and John agree with Dr. Luke.
Humbly repent to God, admitting that Jesus' sacrifice is the source and reason we can be forgiven. Sin is missing the mark, having a distorted view evil and actual transgressions against the law and principles God sent and set down.
JUST A THOUGHT TO SAVE TIME WASTED IN ARGUMENT. If the Gates of heaven will open for the Followers of Moses then muslims and Jews will enter as the Quran hold's Moses to a high degree, if the gates open for the Followers of Jesus, then Muslims and Christians will enter, as Jesus is elevated to the Highest degrees and Muslims believe the Miracles, and his Enlightenment and that he is the Messiah and we await his return like christians.
I'd love for Muslims to be coming the gate. He is near stationed to God and died for our sins. Humbly repenting of our sins to Jesus is the only way in according to Him.
So you say Jesus is near stationed to GOD, and Jesus died for our sins. You also claim, Humbly repenting of our sins to Jesus is the only way in according to HIM.. who do you refer to as "HIM"? Jesus or God?
We are stuck that is unless God has made that redemption. He has made a redemption in our behalf. That redemption is a historical act. We have to recognize it and to believe in the act as covering us. What are your thoughts??
I need to ask you about the Cow 6:70 passage that says essentially there is no ransom that one can offer for his soul. None is big enough to ransom the soul. There is a similar passage in the Zabur 49
V 7 and 8 say: 7 No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him- 8 the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough-
I will message you the entire psalm but it is saying the same thing as Cow or Cattle.
Stop taking verses out of context. It means that if your good work doesn't get you to heaven, not all the money in the world will save you! And Jesus himself said that your good work must exceed that of the scribes & pharisees, not sit like a lazy duck because "you're saved"
I did not take anything out of context. In fact for you reading I sent the whole psalm to you in a message. And I am not sure you have the correct interpretation. "No payment is ever enough" implies to me that no amount of good works can redeem one. In fact, if you put the whole of scriptures together, that is the unquestionable answer. Good works do not redeem you nor do they get one to heaven.
Why don't you "sit around" if Jesus died for your sins? What did he die for, then??
Of course I'm not assured I have eternal life; maybe I'll go crazy and leave Islam before I die or commit very huge sins causing me to go to hell. You can never be sure.
And quite frankly I'd doubt your honesty if you were "sure" you're going to heaven, especially that you worship a human being and break the FIRST commandment, among other things.
Right on brother!!! Now we are getting somewhere!!!
Many, many do not understand that!!! Even people who wear the Christian label.
We DO NOT work to earn anything!!! We CAN NOT earn anything by working!! Our deeds are like filthy rags in His sight.
Jesus Christ DID THE WORK--ALL OF IT!!
My work is in response to His love for me. My work is because I love Him sooooo much. Let me say that again--I love Him sooooo much. I would give all my life for Him.
Actually I believe that in Deedat's last/11th part of his debate with American soldiers stationed in the gulf (which apparently 2 of them embraced Islam after, judging by the pics), he says that any God who orders a woman who saves her husband's hand be cut off (as written in the bible) to be "a lunatic God".
You can't say Deedat never said the bible was corrupted, what about his book "50,000 contradictions in the holy bible"?
You love the Hebrew and Greek scriptures when you perceive that it presumes to fore tell the coming of Muhammad. But on all other fronts and points it is corrupt and cannot be trusted. I have watched Deedat diasect a verse down to minute detail to make "his" point but then he doesn't "accept the bible." You only accept it when it makes the point you want to make but not at any other times. Do you see the double standard/double talk here??
lol? You just did the same thing trying to "prove" that Islam embraces the concept of dying for our sins! And that's perfectly okay in a religious discussion, here's why:
You believe in 100% of the bible, I don't. If your bible prophecizes Mohammad, which it does, I score a point because you don't believe in him. While, if the bible shows a contradiction, such as saying that locusts/grasshoppers walk on 4 legs (which it does), YOU need to explain that! Got it?
Hello nighthawk7878 - Hello my friend! I respect the way you display your videos. Were told in the Quran to interact and respect the followers of the book (Injel & Torah) as the truthful among them will recognize truth when they hear it. Most of us can agree with the Mark about taken in unclean, does not make a man unclean in the outer physical sense. However the lesson or point of that verse seem to be about the behavior of man with his tongue. Thanks friend.
And the same to you. I can appreciate your Imam, Anwar Al-Awlaki and his attitude. Different from many Imam's I read about. He is a level above others. He has some divine insights about life. If you have listened to him, I am sure you do too. I love you though we have not met. That love given me by Jesus. He abides still, He is constant, He is yesterday, today and forever. He is the way to the Father. I have submitted to God through Him.
isalhia said: Were told in the Quran to interact and respect the followers of the book (Injel & Torah) as the truthful among them will recognize truth when they hear it.
I am not learning the harder things about the Qur'an myself. You are right, It does say what you said, but it also says "Kill them wherever you find them."
How can you live with that? Many of MY BROTHERS IN JESUS have lost their lives just yesterday at the sword of Islam. Something is wrong.
nighthawk7878 - hello my friend and thank you for your nice comments above and I'm sorry for the loss of your fellow man as it is also my fellow man in humanity. Many people claim to kill in the name of God or in the name of submission to one God (Islam) but only God himself knows what's in the hearts of man. In the Quran it says clearly that the killing of the innocent shall be faced with Hell and an evil place it is.
Nighthawk7878 - God hates the oppressors. We are told to not allow ourselves as humans to be oppressed. Every verse that has to do with fighting in the Quran is in self defense. God is Just and he tells man kind to stand for peace and for what's right but don't live in oppression. That verse that you spoke of is about a peace treaty that was broken by Quraysh. They killed innocent Muslims in their sleep, so they are told to now fight in self defense so that this oppression may end.
hmmm let's hope that those brothers in Jesus also believe in the bible's "their pregnant women ripped open" (you saw my video comparing holy books so you can't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about :)
Also it makes me wonder if those "brothers" died trying to crush the resistance of an oil-rich country, so Haliburton would make a good buck, in which case we must pray to God to curse those bad guys who killed them and stole poor Cheney's pension fund to themselvs!
If you admire Ahmed Deedat, why don't you open up your heart and listen to his lecture with an open mind. Anyway thanks. You at least don't criticize Muhammed and diss him. I really appreciate that NightHawk.
I do admire him as an orator, however, I just found out something disappointing, he claimed to know Greek, the original language of the Injeel, someone has proven that he did not know even the basics of Greek grammar. He did not admit to what he knew to be true about Isa.
theres a video about Ahmed Deedat meeting two Mormon christians in youtube and in the video Ahmed Deedat explains whats hygiene in islam...just search for (ahmed deedat mormon) if im not mistaked he explains it in part 6 or 5. and i hope you enjoy it ^_^
I have not heard that debate and I do not trust Jimmy Swaggart so I may not listen to that debate. However, melonpun, my point is that he digs into the greek and pulls out ONE greek word and bases a whole argument on the ONE word from the greek. If he believes it is corrupted, he would have no argument because his opponents would simply say: "Sir, I am sorry, you just picked a word that is corrupt. What other points do you have sir?"

Humbly repenting of our sins to Jesus is the only way in according to Him.
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
So you say Jesus is near stationed to GOD, and Jesus died for our sins. You also claim, Humbly repenting of our sins to Jesus is the only way in according to HIM.. who do you refer to as "HIM"? Jesus or God?

As recorded accurately in the Greek. Author Dr. Luke has been noted as the most accurate historian of all time.

We are stuck that is unless God has made that redemption. He has made a redemption in our behalf. That redemption is a historical act. We have to recognize it and to believe in the act as covering us. What are your thoughts??
Have a blessed day brother!!!!!
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
Islamo, do you love Allah? And, does that love motivate you to do what you do for Him?
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
I need to ask you about the Cow 6:70 passage that says essentially there is no ransom that one can offer for his soul. None is big enough to ransom the soul. There is a similar passage in the Zabur 49
V 7 and 8 say: 7 No man can redeem the life of another or give to God a ransom for him- 8 the ransom for a life is costly, no payment is ever enough-
I will message you the entire psalm but it is saying the same thing as Cow or Cattle.
We are stuck with no redemption.
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
Stop taking verses out of context. It means that if your good work doesn't get you to heaven, not all the money in the world will save you! And Jesus himself said that your good work must exceed that of the scribes & pharisees, not sit like a lazy duck because "you're saved"
IslamoPhilic 3 years ago
I did not take anything out of context. In fact for you reading I sent the whole psalm to you in a message. And I am not sure you have the correct interpretation. "No payment is ever enough" implies to me that no amount of good works can redeem one. In fact, if you put the whole of scriptures together, that is the unquestionable answer. Good works do not redeem you nor do they get one to heaven.
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
I have salvation but I do not sit around. He love and grace motivates me to work hard for Him. Anyone who sits around probably is not "saved."
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
I am concerned about you Islamo. Are you assured that you have eternal life?
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
Why don't you "sit around" if Jesus died for your sins? What did he die for, then??
Of course I'm not assured I have eternal life; maybe I'll go crazy and leave Islam before I die or commit very huge sins causing me to go to hell. You can never be sure.
And quite frankly I'd doubt your honesty if you were "sure" you're going to heaven, especially that you worship a human being and break the FIRST commandment, among other things.
IslamoPhilic 3 years ago

IslamoPhilic 3 years ago
Be careful, he is supposed to be Allah of the Qur'an.
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
I realize that, and honestly I don't agree with Deedat's aggressiveness given that POSSIBLY the verse was actually inspired by God.
I was just telling you that no, he doesn't "accept the bible", not everything in the bible anyway.
IslamoPhilic 3 years ago
You love the Hebrew and Greek scriptures when you perceive that it presumes to fore tell the coming of Muhammad. But on all other fronts and points it is corrupt and cannot be trusted. I have watched Deedat diasect a verse down to minute detail to make "his" point but then he doesn't "accept the bible." You only accept it when it makes the point you want to make but not at any other times. Do you see the double standard/double talk here??
nighthawk7878 3 years ago

May God give you and I guidence.

I am not learning the harder things about the Qur'an myself. You are right, It does say what you said, but it also says "Kill them wherever you find them."
How can you live with that? Many of MY BROTHERS IN JESUS have lost their lives just yesterday at the sword of Islam. Something is wrong.
nighthawk7878 3 years ago
nighthawk7878 - hello my friend and thank you for your nice comments above and I'm sorry for the loss of your fellow man as it is also my fellow man in humanity.

VAboi123 4 years ago
I do admire him as an orator, however, I just found out something disappointing, he claimed to know Greek, the original language of the Injeel, someone has proven that he did not know even the basics of Greek grammar. He did not admit to what he knew to be true about Isa.
nighthawk7878 4 years ago
I looked at quite a few videos of yours and I realized that you say "Isa" instead of Jesus. Thats arabic. Why don't you say Jesus? thx just curious

theres a video about Ahmed Deedat meeting two Mormon christians in youtube and in the video Ahmed Deedat explains whats hygiene in islam...just search for (ahmed deedat mormon) if im not mistaked he explains it in part 6 or 5. and i hope you enjoy it ^_^
melonpun 4 years ago
he clearly states that the toran and injeel changed from the debate with Jimmy Swaggart. correct me if im wrong.
melonpun 4 years ago
I have not heard that debate and I do not trust Jimmy Swaggart so I may not listen to that debate. However, melonpun, my point is that he digs into the greek and pulls out ONE greek word and bases a whole argument on the ONE word from the greek. If he believes it is corrupted, he would have no argument because his opponents would simply say: "Sir, I am sorry, you just picked a word that is corrupt. What other points do you have sir?"
