That's possibly the sexiest American car I've seen (since the classics of the sixties - the last time America made a TRULY great car). The arse isn't as elegant as it could be though, and the fat bumper beneath the grill is awful. But I guess it's typical of the 'Americans are insecure and feel emasculated in the world so we put on a big gruff front' which has manifested in the giant, clunky, laughable grills and front-ends that have been a feature of most of the US cars in the last decade.

The Safety Standards in Europe are much more stringent than those in the US and they don't have those giant front ends. Those big front-ends are solely a design feature.
This car is so much better looking than the 2010-2011 mustangs. The roofline reminds me so much of the 67-68 fastbacks, and i like the way the fron valance looks too. If ford made this, the mustang sales would skyrocket

This car is so much better looking than the 2010-2011 mustangs. The roofline reminds me so much of the 67-68 fastbacks, and i like the way the fron valance looks too. If ford made this, the mustang sales would skyrocket

It's ironic that when the Mustang first came out 64 1/2, that Iacocca referred to it as a 'shitbox'. It was built on the Falcon frame.
It's come a long way since then.

@manynelsons The quote appeared when Iacocca was leading Chrysler back from default. It appeared in a question and answer interview, but I can't remember the publication.

This video gave me the idea that there should be movies with a bunch of scenes just like this of amazing cars driving/racing/cruising around with awesome music in the background and exhaust/engine clips when necessary. Sort of like snowboard or skate videos but one for car people. Thumbs up if you agree.

@chip10289 Key word, Had.. The Charger and Challenger today really are not worthy of their namesakes in my opinion. The Challenger has good looks, but it is too large. Instead of making it what it could be, Dodge just stuck a body on a full size frame. And the Charger is a Charger in Name only. They would have been better off Bringing back the Original. Now that would Sell!!

@Cpearlz It's Lee Iacocca... only one of the most known automobile businessman in world history. He drove Ford to massive profitability as President, got fired by Henry Ford II because they clashed. Then went to Chrysler and pulled them out the shithole. This man is one of the best CEOs to go down in history. He's a legend.
