  • @KINGxMANIACx The E8400 actually spanks the Q6600 in quite a few games. *FACTS FROM 3DGAMEMAN*. I personally use the Quad 6600 overclocked to 3.27GHz :P, no hard feelings.

  • Nicely done. :) I'm still using my old Antec 900 with a XFX 750i board, however the newest thing in my PC right now is the EVGA GTX 465 using 9800 GTX+ as a PhysX processor.

  • lol and now is talking the guy from the first episode ?

  • you need the Greenlight ^^

  • I bet I have a worse rig :P

  • hey igchris, what powersupply are you using and does it require any extension cables to reach neccesary plugs etc such as cpu etc. i have a 902 and really liked ur cable managementsetup but cant use it due to short psu cables.

  • my pc posts but it doesnt beep, thats because the speaker isnt plugged in or it is not plugged in the right plug. (lotta plugs in there)

  • It may be a feature of the motherboard; some of them have it as a feature.

  • the beep speaker has to be in the case. idk why this or the CM storm sniper dont have it, i hope that the antec 1200 will have

  • I know it has to be in the case; you don't even know what I was talking about.

  • huh? than about what? :S

  • coz the case doesnt have the speaker. the CM storm sniper doesnt have either :S but im sure the Antec 1200 has

  • beep speakers come on the motherboard.

these arent used much anymore. they are for the bios to tell you whats wrong with the system or if its working. the green light is to tell you that the motherboard is getting power so you know your psu is working.

  • yes i know. but the speaker is very useful man.. one time when i changed the cpu cooler there was some beeps and the pc didnt start. if there wasnt the speaker, i wouldnt have known what was the problem

  • i do think the speaker is usefull aswell but here on my channel we try to explain y these things might happen and the best ways to avoid these.

we also tell you how to build computers, cable management skills and we also anwser questions

  • you have cable managment toturials?

  • not just yet but i will in the next few months, this is as we are just a new channel and are already backed up with lists of videos to make. fortunately though there is cable management vids in the list so they will be made soon. subscribe if you are interested and i will then try and get them made sooner.

  • yes i will. and glad to hear that u will be making some cable managment toturials.. coz all i know to do cable managment is just put everything behind the mobo tray

  • yeah i hear that a lot. just wondering, what case do you have.

  • also we have another channel to this. its called computerinfotubeqa and its for if you want to know something specific then just ask on that channel and well post a video to anwser it

  • ok.

  • Nice setup, close to mine which is..

    Antec 900

    Q6600 @ 3.2 Ghz stable @Tested wif prime95

2GB Ocz upgrading to 1066 corsair dominator

    Asus P5k-e

    600w OCZ gamexstream

    22inch + 15inch monitor's

    500gig + 150gig wd raptor 10krpm

7 fans, will be 8 when i get another fan lols

dont forget to post your score! :Dd

  • do u need a raptor dude

  • I was going to buy this case but it seems too noise

  • buy the antec nine hundred two. it comes with exterbnal fan controllers. with all fans on low i can only hear my psu fan

  • no post beep

  • not all motherboard have to post, i have the crappy BIOSTAR Motherboard and that doesnt post.

  • my biostar does lol

  • OI BIOSTAR is not crap lololol, i will be ordering th Biostar T-Power LGA775 soon, do you think it is any good ??

  • Tpower is biostar at their best, I own 3 of their boards none are tpower, and I still love em.

  • yes cool, what model numbers are your boards, i own 3 of the 945P-A7B BIOSTAR,

  • can i have one :)

  • your voice has changed...

  • yo dude like the vid

check my system out very similar ime uploading new vids very soon (quad time lol)

just a question on the motherboard i have the same but have had issues with the audio and now ive just given up and ime getting a sound card lol

going sli on the next week with my 9800gtx+ =)

    cool vid dude

  • uugghh, the 900 has such good cooling, but what is killing me is the side window, i just find it to be ugly with the triangular shape and crooked fan.. grr!!

  • Hey bro your video was just what i was looking for...I wantd to see what the fan looked like on the north bridge heatsink...thanks....Im planing on buying a 750i

board and im trying to narrow it down between the evga or asus 750i

i have heard tons of complants that the evga 750 sucks and they all are incompatible..then the asus 750i seems good so far but i havent owned one thing from asus before

  • well i have the evga version on it and i have allso had the asus. the asus one got way to hot so i sent it in and got the evga one insted. so far it works great. no problems yet.

  • ohh cool

    thanks for the fyi

  • sweet build dude

im about to get the same specs almost

should i get the evga 750i ftw or the one u have

  • depends if you want crossfire or sli but the one he has is pretty good and its a sli board a good crossfire board is a foxconn p45a-s

  • im going with sli but wat would u perfer the p5nd or th e 750i

  • the p5n-d is cheaper and has epu technology also i like asus motherboards but they are pretty much the same just compare them and see which one you like best its all personal preference but i have a that crossfire board i was telling you about but if i had sli i would probably buy the ftw edition

  • oh shit mine is on backwards.. is that bad?

  • nah it doesnt

  • gpu the is a no evga`s Graphics cards?

  • swith the power supply the swith on!!!

  • what the green light?

  • Cod4, crysis, UT3 support quad i am pretty sure. And you can easily clock the Q6600 up to 3.0ghz same as the e8400. Quad will give loads better performance in any task you give it.

  • ...and the e8400 can easily be overclocked to 4Ghz.

  • The point you are trying to put across, is...? The best choice IS the Q6600 If you wanted you CAN even get that to close 4GHZ. Dual core for today is OK, but for tomorrow, it will be the thing of the past. GO QUAD CORE for future-proof.

  • I didn't realise you were so dim. I was just pointing out that if you can overclock the Q6600 to the 3G you can't really say it's a performance match when you can overclock the 8400 anyway. By however much you overclock the Q6600 to you can also do to the E8400. Therefore, the bottom of the range quad core (your precious Q6600) will still be slower. You're right about the quad core support but the E8400 outperforms the Q6600 (eg crysis). I suggest doing some research before looking stupid.

  • I'd like to also point out that no processor is future proof. if you bought the E8400 or the Q6600 today in 2 years you're going to want a new processor. And with regards to future proof - I don't think your Q6600 would last into the future if you tried overclocking it to 4G. You would severely damage the lifespan and I don't suggest anyone try it.

  • lol your funny XD

  • yea many games dont support quad cores i know crysis does tho

  • they are both good procs, but i would say the q6600 is better cuz its a quad

  • im getting the same case, GPU, and mother board as this one :D

  • my 4 pin thing won't reach up next to the fan O.O

  • When you are building a computer which operating system do you get? the original one or the OEM version? What is the difference?

  • what do you mean original one?

  • I ment to say what's the difference of the retail version and the OEM version? All I know is that OEM is cheaper and it comes from the manufacturer.

  • both come from the manufacturing, OEM, you dont get a fancy box, thats pretty much the difference from what i can see

  • why is there a bfg 8800gt oc in there when you bought a evga 8800gt superclocked?

  • i put in the bfg becuz it came from my computer and i put the evga in mine

  • ohhhh ok

  • So you drilled no holes whatsoever? If so, not bad, I'm lazy so I think I'll do something similar. Thanks for the video.

  • Hey man..nice video..i actually just bought an antec 900 case love how it looks..but one problem for me is that my cpu cooler needs to be screwed in and the motherboard has the holes but the antec 900 case doesnt..i was wondering if i needed to drill some or just get a cpu cooler that clips on the cpu..and also do you have any other tips on working with the antec 900..this is my second time ever building a computer..and looks like your a pro!!thanks again..

  • do you have a big backplate or something for your cpu cooler?, the backplate should be right behind the motherboard and not the case, so you dont drill anything into the antec 900

  • yea i dont have a plate on the motherboard...

for an ok computer how is the asus i750..?

  • its a great board that supports pci-ex 2.0 and sli and one of the better priced boards

  • do you recommend it..because im looking to buy a board but i dont want to pay anymore then like $150..thanks

  • yes its a good board

  • what about the XFX nforce 680i LT SLI motherboard?

sorry if im being a pain..just trying to gain knowledge and i can see you know alot..

  • i would get the 750 over the 680i because of the 45nm processor support and pci express 2.0 support

  • also both 2.0 slots run x16 in sli

  • Getting a mobo with full 2.0 support isn't very important at this point. By the time games are taking full advantage of 2.0, you'll probably need to do a major upgrade anyway, so why spend the extra hundred bucks or whatever on something that won't help you?

  • 750i isn't more than a 680i

  • hey man in the first vid the 8800gt you got was evga, how is this bfg?

  • the evga i put in my computer and i installed the bfg on my friends computer, the evga i must say is a lot quieter, the bfg has a high pitched sound the comes from it if you mae the fan speed higher than 50%. other than that, performance is about the same.

  • hi mate

hehe i just got this mobo and cpu cooler myself.. core2duo and 8800GTS 512mb. Im quite impressed by it. thanks for sharing the vid i was looking to get an antec 900, looks good. What are your stock cpu temps? and case temp?

    :) enjoy your pc

  • im not sure about the temps because i built this computer for my friend, but im pretty sure its very cool at stock voltages

  • Hey, im interested in buying this board and i would like to know if this board could hit the 400x9 wall (3.6ghz)

    Thanks Josh

  • Hi i noticed yous aid you got 3 ghz out of that mobo do yout hink you could find the highest stable oc you can get, e.g 400x 9 as i would like to buy this mobo and want 3.6ghz out of it.

    Thanks Josh

  • you said u werent using the optional fan?? so what made u change ur mind??

  • i wasnt gonna use it, but the fan drastically cools down the NB quite a bit

  • haha looks like its time to make a new gmod video =D

  • Ye but i think is not that good for overclock aint?

  • its an ok overclocker, we've oc'ed it to 3.0 ghz

  • so chris when our we going to see some benchmarks on dis system man u gat me all hype to see your creation at it best

  • i dont have the computer right now, its with my friend, so i cant really show a video of the 3dmark06, but we did run the test and it got a score of 13,500.

  • nice job dude! Antec struck gold with that 900 case. got two myself.

  • Part 3 WOOT!!! I have been waiting for the results on this build. Whenever you can let us know about the benchmarks, score and stuff and see how it does. By the way, the PC looks nice from the inside despite the fact you didn't do any extra drilling. Good job on cable management.

  • Can you mayby give us some benchmarks. because i really want to see how the motherboard reacts (p5n-d) when the processor is overclocked.

  • what you think about the P5Nd? board see ya

  • the board very solid, no problems what so ever, the layout is great and its one of the first 750i's out there
