  • Lol I went to this because I wanted to see how it was to teach your own language because I'm trying to learn Korean and I don't really like this video. Their conversation was random and skipped from topic to topic

  • Go straight to 1:26 to cut to the chase. They're a naughty couple.

Everything they say is a code for what they want to do later.

"Would U like some cheese?" nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

"I don't have any chicken or beef" thank God for that!!!

"Is it fresh? Yes, I baked it this morning with wholewheat flour" ooo-er!!!

  • @zenyricardo Easy, because the most faster way to learn english is to inmerse in the language.... think in english, speak in english, all you routine turn it into english, n you'll see that you will improve :D

  • With a proper accent, one can sell any type of crappy product to an American audience. The distinctive timbre and enunciation that a foreign accent imbues to a sales pitch is hypnotic to some people and forces them to give out their credit card numbers without fail.

  • hey! Does somebody use CardLearner to study words? (its flashcards for Symbian)

Hey, Raxiboy. I teach English on Skype. My Skype name is minnesota_english. Check out my YouTube channel. I'd love to help you. :)

  • 私は理解しない。

  • This video does leave a lasting impression on English teachers and students alike. Though supposing I wanted to teach my students the meaning of grow vegetables and bake, which I think would be a bit challenging for a beginner, how could i demonstrate the meaning visually?

  • this is a useful video. I will use it in my class. Steve McCrea Teacher

  • Would you like some cheese? Certainly. Such an emphatic affirmative response. This chick would agree to anything.

  • the british girl talking to that gook dude looks good!!!!!!!!!

  • _May_ I have some bread? Not "can".

  • this fuking lessons are for the retarded people or what?

  • @xL3AFARx have you ever learnt a new language? You don't know that you HAVE to start from the basics (AKA "things for retarded people"), in order to get it right?

  • @akbg ofcourse i learnt a new lenguage, the english is my second lenguage and i think the people don´t learn like this, that's not a real life conversation

  • Nice... Peccato che è tutto in inglese e se sei un principiante non ci capisci nulla. Per chi ha bisogno di imparare da zero è meglio dare prima uno sguardo a Brickster e poi magari continuare con queste lezioni

  • thanx so much

  • ham is neither chicken or beef...... :p

  • "we bake bread cookies and potatoes in a hot oven." oh really?

"i like beef, i think i'll make hamburgers for my kids tonight" i love how it started with him wanting cheese.

  • "i'd rather have some ham."

"I don't have any chicken or beef.."

haha wait what? he didn't ask you about beef or chicken..

  • "I baked it this morning with whole wheat flour." Lol who would ever say that? This is so unnatural it's funny.

  • LOL!!!!! wow what a wonderful conversation!

  • Hi PodEnglish,

Congratulations on this video. In fact congratulations to all who go to the trouble to use their skills to help others.

WHAT I WOULD PARTICULARLY LIKE TO ADDRESS MYSELF TO is those commentators who show their ignorance by the use of language one would not use in polite company. Maybe, just maybe some people are not acquainted with polite company. I'm not against negative comments, it's the spirit in which it's given. Keep up the good work.

  • Yes, yes, yes, thank you for your comment--Videoie. I agree with you. Thank you PodEnglish for all the hard work & for sharing with us. Surely, I recomment your site to those whom I know who want to learn or improve their Eng. language. Blessings:)

  • "...I'd rarther have some ham."

"I don't have any chicken or beef... "

    What?

  • Lol - yes the only phrase missing was 'My hovercraft is full of eels"

  • Also he's pronouncing "flour" as "flower"! It should be pronounced "flawr"

  • Well, I think it depends on the accent. I'm not English, but in the dictionary I saw that the words "flour" and "flower" have the same pronunciation. ^^

  • thank you very very much......

  • is that dude jackie chan

  • of course not.

  • lol. the dialogue is great. it's like listening to a pair of robots, funny robots.

  • The dialogue was not coherent, especially after the ham part...

  • haha burn, she thinks your stupid :P

  • Good god! Why American English - spoken by a Native-Speaker? Ridiculous. Also, the contrived sketch with the Chinese man and (English?) woman ! 'Would you like some cheese? Certainly' We don't normally say 'certainly' after simple question.

  • I say certainly :/

And i generally say rather instead of very

  • Don't believe I watched this!! It made me laugh. xD

  • ai kant spiik inglihsh :(

  • Jokes!!! Cheese.... bread.... and broccoli?!!?!?

  • Thanks for uploading this video, it´s very understandable and very didactic, I'll definitely use it in class xD

  • british english is more undersandable than american english i think .

  • @freakishweirdo They're called hamburgers because they are named after Hamburg.

  • I've made a few English tutorial videos as well. Just check out my youtube channel.

    Jack

  • Hey guys! You may also want to visit Smart Teaching Online to get a few grammar lessons which you my find useful. Thanks!

  • This video is not bad. It would be more useful if they stayed on one topic for a while. For example, they could talk about bread and baking in more detail first. They could talk about shopping for vegetables or meat in future videos. It's also quite funny to hear the man start with a North American accent but lose it when talking about meat. He's quite a talented actor!

  • Now i can English I have learn this by this Vidio

  • THANKS plz write sentences bottom of film.

  • I teh know english now!

  • THANKS....(GRACIAS)

  • what the heck was this!!!????

  • what..the..hell id rather have some HAM! not chicken or beef, that has NOTHING to do wuith the subject...ughh!

  • thanks

  • Man, this is good !

for you, Americans, this video probably looks idiot, but for people who are learning english (like me), it's a very nice one !

the only problem is the British accent

  • would you like some broccoli?

no thank you. i'd rather have some ham.

i don't have any chicken OR beef.

rofl! i hope foreigners don't try to imitate these conversations...

  • i think this is just to improve your english

  • lxEntrlix, I am sorry to say that you have a poor language teaching knowledge. As a laguage teacher, one must set his language target to work any video used in class and not necessarily do you need to use students's native language to make them understand and have them use the target teaching point.

  • merci

  • na our learn french lessons are like this too, all in french

  • how does this help you learn English when the entire video is in English. call me stupid, but it appears to me that you'd have to have and advanced comprehension of English to even understand the directions.

  • that is just what i thought

  • ppl trying to learn english wouldnt understand this and ppl that already know english is pointless

  • I like this lesson!

  • Lol, very funny, thanks =)

  • omg that was so wrong it made no sence!!!!!!!!!! a normal convo does not go that way lmao

  • WTF

  • how could the actors keep straight faces?

  • just give me the damn cheese!

  • duu all of you guys below sucks !!!

of course this video helps to the students that

    want to learn American English

  • good.............

  • Wow, the conversation is so artificial...

  • how does this help you learn English when the entire video is in English. call me stupid, but it appears to me that you'd have to have and advanced comprehension of English to even understand the directions.

    in short, HUH???!?11?

  • HMMMMMM, A little unrealism was put forth in this English Language 'Conversation' demo, lol. Yes, I like to cook cakes, omg, !

  • pipets

  • This does not seem like it would help. It's defining words, which doesn't help if the student doesn't know what those words mean.

  • This was gay

  • ok there is no reason to be homophobic lol

  • This is good practice for test!

  • i want to learn english. cuz i want fuck to english girls hahahhaha
