You can get the unlocked GSM version off of Ebay and use it with (TMobile or Verizon, ATT???) Or get the more updated Sprint version that's been out since last fall. I have it. Check my vid.

3: Apple doesn't let you customize anything at all. I see that you have a jailbroken one, and i know how it is. The only thing you can do is change themes, loaders, backgrounds... But that's all. And if you take a closer look at the Hero, you will see that everything is customizable.

I think Google's done the right thing in making an open-source, phone-centric OS. Not because it's based on Linux, but because it's open sourced: phone makers no longer have to create quality software from scratch and can take a fully-featured and well-designed OS, alter it for their product and then re-sell it. All companies contribute, where as before they all competed. This method, moreso then the phone I think, can be the iPhone breaker.

I really believe this phone will overtake the iPHONE easily in sales and superiority. It has a far better user interface, and the quality, look and specification of the HERO clearly outweighs the iphone - and others also.

Lol, there are only 3 versions of the iPhone out. There are about 4+ of HTC touch screens. There more of a product you make, the better it gets. Apple with 3 versions has done far more than this company with 4+.

THis is a huge dilema with all phone companies. Yes they will still charge you for data usage through wifi if you don't have a data package. I called every single cell phone providers and they all decided to get together and charge people because they want to avoid VOIP, You may want to double check on this but i've called Verizon, Sprint, ATT, and Tmobile and they all said they would charge for WIFI use. It may just be a scam though.

i would say the htc hero u can multytask and do more with it like have different widgets like costumizing ur home screen,iphone they just gonna make another one after another adding new things but its not all that great
