but funny thing about popularizing something that was ment to be undergraound in order to be different. is it becomes the norm. and you defeat the purpose of your cause. so now all emos have become newb. just like the rappers and justin bieber fans.

(maybe 1 out of ten people will liek the whole emo thing) so your basically underground now. unless of course the 2000-2003 emo boom happens again and 9-10 people have black hair and start talking about how they are obsessed with blood.
Japans cultrue almost direcly reflects ours... Even today they try to make everything we do in america..."cool" or "better" for their culture. The emo clothes...... You see that in america.. Did you know there are people in japan who love rap so much that they paint themselvs to look like a black person... Not even joking
@heftomatic Actually the "emo" style originates from Japans "Visual Kei" it's basically like a more powerful style, google a band called Ayabie, you'l see what i mean, and i don't believe this rap = painting black statement, Japanese has Rap also, so i don't think they'd need to do that, maybe you could link a pic or something for proof?, and even if you do, its probably not a large quantity, back to the visual kei thing, our culture is behind theirs, not vice versa
