Wow!It's a great movie,It's seamed to be a funny action movie,but it turned in to a love-drama movie,It was very good,japanese can be very romantic and poetic,but I want to suggest this:ehy Japanese,girls and boys,men and women who fall in love....use to kiss and make love,do it sometimes,not everytime,but sometimes do it,don't show always the sad part of the story....ahahaha

I love this film! I cried hard at the end and I was so touched by their love story.

And the story was conveyed without the need to show nudity or sex and you still got how they felt about each other. Thats good against films that rely on nudity.I recommend this movie to anyone and its great movie coming from Japan!!!

I really liked this movie, good thing I found a copy with accurate English subtitles. I cried for days due to the ending. I was kind of disappointed though, the ending was sad but it kind of annoyed me. The fact that she just forgot ryota, I thought she would have at least remembered him seeing as she loved him. But it was sad how she couldn't change the past. He still died. :(

This movie is magnificent. I like how it all fits together in the end, though it was rather predictable.

oh this movie is quite good! my only complain is that they changed the character personality of the original girl(the mother). she seemed too passive/introvert in this version compared to the anime version where she was outward and almost tomboyish playing baseball and all... while this story takes place 2 years after the original incident i don't think she would have become all so feminine to this extreme. apart from that i really liked this story.

I watched this movie recently and I really enjoyed it. It's not supposed to be a live-action adaption of the 2006 anime movie, its more based on the original Tokikake novel. As much as I love the Tokikake anime, its a bit sad how it seems to overshadow the original work. So I don't think people should pre-judge this Tokikake movie because its not like the anime one.

In Tokikake (anime), Makoto was Kazuko Yoshiyama's niece. In this film, the lead (Akari Yoshiyama) is Kazuko Yoshiyama's daughter.. ... Which makes Makoto and Akari..... cousins??? xD

Wish this live-action was based on Makoto, instead of creating a whole new character Akari :(
