Well it works alright now but i cant see lasers and sometimes the game looks ugly. What should i do?

@wertkonijn1000 I never heard of those problems before, so I guess one thing that could help is updating your graphics card drivers and/or DirectX. But since the game is already 5 years old, I doubt that this is the major problem. Are you using a 64 bit system? And did you try running the game a) as administrator and b) in Windows XP-compatibility mode or something like that? Probably worth a try, even though I can't guarantee for anything. ;)

The game-creator reported, that he won't add a multiplayer-mode to SS2, but he's working on a sequel with some more/better features which might get a multiplayer-mode.. but it's hard to say when it comes out.

There is health? Oo Sorry if you're right.. I played the game very long but never noticed health. And modding the game is imo not really possible, because the used DLLs should be integrated into the exe (apart from the DX9-files). A non-media-version (also uploaded on the homepage) is open-source, this one could be changed, but the Code is a bit hard to understand, and needs the Dark Basic Pro-Compiler. x)

To repeat it once more: I didn't make this game. But apart from that a health pack would be kinda senceless, because you don't really have "health", but die when you lose to much parts of your body.. <.<

No I don't think so. The simple physics is completely hardcoded direclty in DBP without any plugins like Dark Physics.

You have to install directX 9.0c on your computer (I think from end of 2006) to run it. And you have to use winRar to unpack it.. if it doesn't work then, I have no idea why.

You should first unzip the game.. and then just start the exe. ;)

In the menu.. first select english speech I think (should be easy to find), then "start game" or something, define the map, number of bots etc. and click "start" again.

Dark Basic isn't really hard to learn.. if you have a basic maths-knowledge you shouldn't need more that some months. ;) Also programming isn't just writing some commands in a row and hope that it works, you need a big part of your development time for planning features and thinking about the algorithms.. btw Stick Suicide is open source, afaik it has around 2k lines of code (the version without media).
