They could have and should have put him in isolation after MBP was suspected and they didn't do so. Sure, they made changes after he died, but he didn't have to die in the first place.

Usually if Munchausen by Proxy is suspected, a camera system is installed. This little boy did not have to die. This situation is so infuriating. It was in his chart the medical staff suspected this syndrome was going on. Breaks my heart.
@LawlerNichole this happened in 2000-2002. CCTV were everywhere in the UK by then. the hospital acted foolishly. people will act differently being watched by other people than by a camera.
