McCain did not come close. So then the House of Representatives would select a new President and the Senate a new V-P. The request for honesty on these questions is not unreasonable or unfair. If he has made the "choice" to seal all of his records, then he made an erroneous one. No, if Obama was removed from office (along with Biden since they were voted in as a ticket), the 2nd place finisher only becomes President if he received 270 Electoral votes. McCain did not come close. So then the House of Representatives would select a new President and the Senate a new V-P. Given the Democratic majorities in each, I'm certain the next President and V-P would be Democrats. As for the Senate leadership, they would be fine (although I like the idea of Pelosi in handcuffs)...

You would then have to go after the 50 Secretaries of State/Commonwealth for each state, since they were in charge of vetting all candidates that appeared on their state's ballots. Yes, natural born citizen refers to the requirement for President that is typically understood to mean that a President be born within the US. Some believe it could be satisfied if a person born outside the US has two American parents.

Yes, Obama spent a few years in Indonesia as a child. That doesn't suddenly make him a non-American. A minor's citizenship cannot be removed. See Perkins v. Elg. Even if Indonesia had erroneously granted Obama citizenship, he'd be a citizen of both the US and Indonesia, and that does not remove his natural born citizenship.

I'm not shifting my story but merely mentioning that there are NUMEROUS issues that disqualify him. The birth certificate is only one of several. And not only did BHO state that he was adopted by Soetoro, but he would never have been allowed to attend school in that then-closed nation had he not been a citizen. Once again, Obama provided the COLB that he got when he asked HI for his birth certificate. By law, the COLB is all HI provides when you ask them for your birth certificate. McCain did not provide the documentation because it was not needed in his case. The question in regards to his birth was the status of the Panama Canal Zone at the time of his birth. There was never a ruling one way or the other (personally I think he was eligible), but the Senate, including numerous Dems like Obama and Clinton, signed a resolution saying they thought he was eligible.
As for documentation by McCain, when questions were raised about his health and they wanted to see his....

There is no evidence that he was ever adopted by Soetoro in Indonesia, thus receiving Indonesian citizenship. Even if it was so, under US law, a minor can not form the consent to give up his US citizenship. He retains it until age 23, when he would then have to renounce his US citizenship in order to keep his Indones. Citizenship. Obama never lost his US citizenship while in Indonesia according to US law. That argument is moot.

You just refuse to accept the fact that the COLB is the only thing that HI gives out at this point. It states he was born in Honolulu, and the document is prima facie evidence in any court proceeding. It's authenticity has been vouched for by the HI DoH and the governor. The request for honesty on these questions is not unreasonable or unfair. If he has made the "choice" to seal all of his records, then he made an erroneous one. The fact that he hasn't done so after many months suggests that there is a problem with his information and that he's well aware of it. I'm pleased that members of the military are refusing to take "orders" (haha) from him, and I'm delighted that the media are now forced to at least admit that there is dissention over the issue.

He is not allowed to view case materials that do not go through proper channels. There are attorneys out there that have waited years to present their cases to the Supreme Court while going through the proper channels. You don't get to "cut in line" just because you corner one Justice at a speaking event. Taitz' paperwork was probably sent to the shredder as soon as Roberts drove away from the event.

I did the research. There was no "No Travel" advisory for Pakistan in 1981. The State Department "highly discouraged" traveling there due to the Afghan/USSR conflict, but it was not prohibited. He spent the money to defend himself from frivolous lawsuits from litigious nutbars.
The fact is that in our system any moron can sue you for anything, and if they do, you have to defend yourself in court. That is what has happened here.
The fact that he's spending money to defend himself only shows that he won't cave in to every nutcase that comes out of the woodwork, and that's a good quality for a president to have, IMHO.

And the document DOES, in fact, prove it... to the Democratic Party, The Republican Party, the Libertarian Party, etc., the U.S. Electoral Commission... in fact to everyone that matters.
The only people to whom it doesn't seem to be enough proof, is a few nutbars, who won't believe it even if they'd witnessed the birth itself.

The constitution makes it clear that you must be a "natural born citizen" to hold the office of president. The be a "natural born citizen" BOTH parents MUST be US Citizens, Obama's father was not a US Citizen, Obama can not hold the office of president, CASE CLOSED!

This isn't some half-baked conspiracy theory based on a few shreds of questionable evidence. This is a legitimate case grounded in the FACT that Obama has failed to prove his citizenship status. Moreover, NOBODY has presented ANY verifiable evidence that he is eligible to be POTUS. If you have such proof, then present it. It's that simple. If not, shut the hell up!

The Birthers should pray that all of these suits are knocked down for lack-of-standing, incompetent or untimely filing, or attorney malfeasance. That, at least, would keep the conspiracy theories alive.
If any of these cases gets so far that a judge has to evaluate the assembled "evidence" aganst Obama, this whole thing is toast...and Berg and Orly will spend the rest of their lives paying off the sanctions.
