yep another great game smothered by EA. I played from beta until sunset of the game. Its a shame to see how greedy companies can "legally" destroy the industry. Westwood wasn't in the best shape when they were bought out but if they could have stayed away from EA they would have developed way better games than EA. My heart goes out to the developers and families of those developers who have been forced to hard times due to extreme cutbacks. #1 Point is don't buy EA's TRASH. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

My all-time favorite games ... Starsiege ,Multiplayer earth and beyond, Multiplayer BattleTech 3025 , Starcraft. atleast one surived. Though i probably should have stayed with PONG... atleast it its revised :p

I miss this game so much! I still have the CD's for my play and the extra ones I bought for my then girlfriend (now wife) so she could play side by side with me. Hers never got opened cause they cancelled the game. Many many good times on Galileo server with my guild the Galactic Coalition of Tradesfolk.

What I really don't get is why the FUCK EA didn't just give the community the server software when they decided to close their own servers. What do they have to lose? It would make a lot of people happy and thus make them support EA more in the future. It's a win-win situation. This is exactly the same shit that happened with Auto Assault when Net Devil decided to close their AA servers :-(

it's easy to get the emulator up, just log into the team speak server and ask Wolf a gm of the game he'll help you out as he did me.

Also I like to note that CCP has made Eve in the image of Earth & Beyond, eve sucks major balls.

EVE?!?!? um no.

EVE online is a very beautiful game but NO walking around, NO interaction on Space Stations, NO personal toon. E&B needed more content at the end, but was very fun, and interactive.

EVE does not offer that. I too lost respect for EA when the game was killed off.

Oh well, no great space mmorpg since that game. :(
