Yeah whats with this Mana curse? It's like every game that comes out after the previous one sucks more and more. Secret of Mana had a cult following. Seiken Densetsu 3 was still good. Legend of mana was ok. This just blows ass! Wanna make a good mana game? Remake Seiken Densetsu 3 in english with online multiplayer. that bitch would more than sell millions, hands down. Oh yeah XBLA and PSN of course, Fuck virtual console Wii Bullshit!

This simply looks like a different take on Kingdom Hearts.

Surely a disappointment for the Mana series. The only thing I can see that is remotely relevant to the Mana series are the names of things like monsters, spirits, and possibly items.

This game has always looked absolutely horrible. Clunky looking controls/camera, shoddy framerate, voice acting as bad as the Sonic Adventure games...it looks like a really bad version of Kingdom Hearts, and even that game had a lot of issues.

I have this game. It's storyline isn't very good and there isn't much variation in attacks, so gameplay gets very repetitive very quickly.

Finally someone who agrees with me! I'm so sick of the FFVII fanboys who'll buy every damn spinoff. Squaresoft was amazing up until the fall when most everyone including Hironobu Sakaguchi left. All because of one movie, he was pressured to leave, and Square merged with Enix, which I absolutely hate. Enix is the one responsible for all the terrible rehashes. I devoted an entire website and clan to Square games, and now I pretty much hate SqENIX.

Would anyone here recomment Dawn of Mana? I DO want to try the game out, but the game has warranted a lot of negative reviews. I don't know if the reviews spawned due to the game being a"Bad Game" or being a "Bad Sequel."

I wish it was more like the snes secret mana. that one was a masterpiece, all the background music was perfect and awesome. The background music in this game sounds like circus music (if anoyne likes this game that's totally cool)

@easygoingb yeah, like the seiken densetsu 3, that was my favorites of all this saga. it's was pretty cool., although it;s a bit old, but it feels so new every time I replay it ^_^ , but this one..... don't know, need to play it to comment about it.

Jesus christ. You've proven to me that this game is only fun when you cheat. I use my "hexorbs" (magic bullets) every now and then, but you really have to conserve them. And it takes at least 40 minutes each level to get your attack to level 4. I'm on chapter 3 right now and I think I'm ready to sell back to Gamestop.
