That was awful. The whole time I was hoping that it would be over. Lefou was not good and the acting was mediocre. I heard barley any harmony and the band was really loud. If you are trying to compensate for the bad acting with a good set, good job. overall this performance was not worth watching. I wanted to see what other people did with their scenes and this told me exactly the opposite to do congratulations. Now after reading this you realized that you just wasted your time. The movements of the actors are basic until the dance brake, and Gaston's animation is far waeker than it should be. Lefou may be the main singer in this scene but Gaston is still the main attraction of it, but overall its a good performance.

I'm always amazed how egotistic "performers" can be. They always seem to think their production was the best and they have the right to criticize everyone else. My only question is, does anyone know where I can get mugs for my production?
i've just finished a run of this production. we did original choreography and our knuckles would get cut every night from the mug dance. i would definitely invest in non-steel mugs. you will have to replace them depending on the length of your run, but the actors will be extremely grateful if you stay away from 100% steel mugs. hope your run goes well!
Best version? Seriously? The voices were good. If this was a small town community theatre, it was great. If it was professional, they should be ashamed. Did they dancers not know the dances or were they playing the roles drunk? Either way...bad. I understand it's a tavern and in my productions the characters played the roles drunk, but no so drunk as to miss steps.

I must say, my theatre group is a bunch of talented teens, and our dance break is SO much more complicated than yours.
Still, wasn't bad...but not fun (:

I dont like how LeFou says "GastOn". The cup dance was awful too, compensating for lack of ability by spinning round and kicking, pfft.
