  • Maybe we need an additive to the gasoline, so that after combustion it will be deposited to the atmosphere to nuetralize CARBON DIOXIDE ????

  • You should help Global Warming by becoming a Super Hero. Captain Neckfat would work for you.

  • Hey when the oil runs out and food is in short supply you'll wish you'd layed in a little neck fat too...... also comes in handy if the situation flips and we get an ice age instead.

    Yaaaa....for neck fat!!

  • Sure we will

  • Cue Darth Vada breathing FX.....

"The flippancy is strong with this one"......

    :)

  • lol true

  • Nice presentation - but false

Learn some basic chemistry and thermodynamics!

It does not take a small amount of energy to covert water into Hydrogen and Oxygen - It takes more energy! You otherwise have the means to make perpetual motion which is roundly known as being false and dreamy.

  • you are right it does take a ass load of power to split water you are right about that i should know, however what are we to do sticking our head in the ground doesnt seem to be an good idea at this time LOL i can tell you all this we will only find some super great way to get a new clean fuel after the oil runs out and all thoses fat oil stocks drop like a crapper seat!

  • I was correcting "fuzzy" science...

I do hope new modes of thinking are adopted that:

    a) Equitably distribute the EARTH's resources,

    b) Solve Energy/Climate demand issues,

    c) Modify law to remove corporate HEGEMONY,

    d) Promote REQUIRING Carbon Sequestration,

    e) Reduce the NWO to an ancient myth.

All these things can be achieved - and the laws of thermodynamics can be preserved.

  • ok well said! i will never stop building hydrogen cells woooooooooo!

  • I've often wondered just how much energy it takes to produce a gallon of gas compared to producing an equivalent amount of hydrogen, don't for get when you look at oil you have to factor in things like searching for the oil then pumping it out of the ground, transporting it to the refinery and finally tankering it to the gas station.

Where as hydrogen needs water and a power source both of which are easier to find than oil.

  • my uncle worked in the oil fields in the gulf of mexico he said that as the wells went dry they keep having to drill deaper wich means more power he told me that 1 of the rigs he was on had a 1/3ratio LOL it used 1 gallon for every 3 pumped and as wells get deeper you can bet so will the waste even the worst wastefull cell are 3 times better on energy production thats what my professor said but i dont know?

  • I enjoyed this video but two things would really improve it.

1, Please take off the hat, your indoors dude!!

2, Turn off the TV in the background, it's really annoying.

  • lol

  • Man I know I'm geting old when indoor hattery annoys me enough to pass comment on it.

  • Problem 1. there are people with a LOT of money making bad info about global warming. There would be no debate if people like the CEI and DCI and other exxon mobile funded companies would stop clouding the issue.

  • Like Dr Todd13 said we tend to leap b4 we look.

Turn off the useless news and seek facts. You should read 'Non-Energy Crisis'. The masses want to blame & point fingers instead of looking 4 solutions.

  • very well done..true things..

  • Now they are after our water. This will be the new world order. I am the last of the middle class I can still afford to buy gas; I grow my own food, and hope to die healthy; & it's all about the money, GREEDY REPUBLICANS. WAKE UP AMERICA ! I hope your video got across to an entire generation misinformed people.

  • Any lie repeated enough times will become believed as truth. What the official government reports state is that many scientists believe that the cause of the most recent warming is from CO2 but that _natural climate variability_ cannot be ruled out as the cause. Moreover, our climate models don't even model water vapor, the #1 greenhouse gas. We don't have enough info to destroy our economy with massive reductions in CO2 emissions.

  • DrTodd: Take a look at the IPCC report. It gives a 90% probability that warming is human caused. Any response will not destroy your economy. In fact, the USA's loosing out on vital markets (think toyota vs Gm and ford) as other countries are ahead on green issues (regardless whether you think its all rubbish). Energy production isnt more than a few percent of GDP, producing it using green methods will no more than double that.

  • Here's how the world really works: if its being pushed by the mass media and mass schooling then it is a dictate from our masters. And the entire intellectual and scientific communities are subserviant to the wealth of the tax-exempt foundations. You are aware that our real rulers--not the paid conmen called politicians--want a completely controlled world of 500 million by 2030, yes? Study up on HAARP and Maurice Strong.

  • Who would want a world of 500million. If there were no births at all we would not reach a world of 500m by 2030. Your reading reports that the world could viably support a 500m population - no one is advocating a mass extermination in order to get there (read up on limits to growth if your interested). From my experience of academia, scientist are free to pursue whatever they want as long as it is good science.

  • ~continued~ Don't get me wrong, I am green - but any technology that an ex-oil-exec president endorses deserves intense scrutiny.

The solutions are available now in more efficient cars that run on carbon-neutral biofuel (what goes out goes back in, in the form of biofuel crops which absorb co2) and electric cars that can potentially eliminate smog in cities.

  • global warming real? yes. hydrogen a solution? no. hydrogen is not economical to produce and never will be - as a chemical energy storage medium it is the among the worst choices possible - it's diffuse, so small it can't be contained, and a full tank of this highly dangerous stuff will only get you the SAME range as a battery-powered electric car at three times the initial price and fuel cost - hydrolysis is not magic, and it doesn't make free energy- it loses energy and plenty of it!

  • youhatem...Hydrogen is only part of the solution. you ignoramus. All he is saying is WE NEED TO STOP BURNING STUFF!!

Derek... thank you for your courage to speak out. u rock!!

  • Hydrogen is the best alternative we have, until you can find a way to make a minuature nuke in your gas tank. And as long as you use clean energy to make the hydrogen, it's 100 times better than fossil fules. Hell even if you use dirty energy your still ahead, because it's easier to regulate factories than it is to regulate 100,000 cars

  • you da man!

  • It does't amplify heat from the sun, as most electromagnetic radiation from the sun is visible light.

We have enough oil for at least 200years, but as you say, we will reep the major affects of GW long before then.

It is (accurately) predicted by the time the century is out, New York will be under 5metres of water.

    great video Vectorman

    Mark Gardiner MEng (Aero)

  • finally an intelligent person. u don't get a lot those

on the net these days. thanks.

    Derek H.
