I can't help but feel like the guitar is either slightly out of tune or he is playing slightly out of tune at times in the beginning. I think the guitar is tuned in open d-minor, by the way.

Laurence Juber is an awesome guitarist. I recommend seeing him play. He plays in Dana Point, CA on occasion.

I hear he is doing something for Diablo 3 too.

@nonumbersuffix Yeah, I read an interview with him. Matt Uelmen, original Diablo composer, now works for Torchlight exclusively, so Blizzard brought on Laurence Juber to bring that similar guitar style.
