I'd say it is logical to assume that the truth about UFOs contains no good news for humanity.
Ask yourself, - what reason would there be to conceal the message if it were a benevolent one?
And how intelligent is it really to assume that extraterrestrials are some kind of benevolent beings if they are, just like us - a product of Natural Selection of their home world? They are likely to be subject to similar internal contradictions and, similarly to ourselves, -can be reasonably violent.
