I think you are all wrong. I think both thnigs (literature an Internet) con live together. Books future is not Internet. Books are not better than Internet. People decide where they can search what they want.
Literature is even more important in some aspect then the physics prize (fiber optics).
Because fiber optics (for example) can only transfer information, but it takes a great mind to transfer human feelings and issues into text that can effect and inspire other humans for years to come.
Fiber optics would be nothing if it didn't have words and culture to transfer around the globe.
